@343 - H2BR - Take My Money

(I know folks may offer comment, but this message is directed @ 343, since we know they watch these boards. I don’t have a Twitter account or I’d tweet them instead.)

I’ve had this game since day 1, but I’m still only SR110 because I don’t get to play that often - some weeks I might log in every day, but there might be other weeks where I only get an hour or two of playtime or even none at all. So, that means I still don’t have everything unlocked (I am following the silver-then-gold grind as prescribed), including the stinking H2BR. There are other loadout weapons that I don’t have unlocked, but this one bugs me because it’s just so incredibly OP and I find it very fun and satisfying to use.

I get the need, during the game’s prime, to stoke excitement and fuel the REQ economy by keeping certain items rare, but the game’s nearly 4 years old at this point and Infinite is only a little over a year away. Could you maybe just offer the dang thing for sale in a premium paid pack at this point? LOL. I’d happily pay $9.99 just for the H2BR alone, nothing else. Hell, I might even double that and pay $19.99. I want it that bad.

I do get that others might feel that’s unfair because they had to grind so long to get theirs, I understand. But I guess my only reply to that is, they’ve offered other very rare items in premium paid packs before, I don’t get why this would be any different. They’ve offered so many premium paid packs I’ve had no interest in, because I already have my dream armor and I have plenty of single use cards I’m not using, but I’ve never seen one with a guaranteed H2BR unlock in it.

The H2 Battle Rifle is a Legendary loadout REQ, which means it’s only available through Gold Packs only. Patience my friend, for it will come to you.

The h2br was the second last thing I unlocked before completing the entire req grind. It’s usually a very late unlock.

Just open silvers till they refund two 1500 point cards instead of unlocks and then open golds… That is the fastest way to get it and not rely on RNG of opening golds.

I didn’t get the h2br until somewhere around rank 130. Also, didn’t unlock any pistol variants until the 130’s.

It took me a very long while before I unlocked the H2BR

I’m pretty sure you should have everything unlocked by 110 if you’re using the silver -> gold method. I think I had everything by 90, though a few things have been added since then.

It all comes to praying to RNG Jesus to give you the next time you open a gold pack, nah just kidding, but really the RNG most of the time is against you, i know i’ll sound like i’m bragging but i got lucky to get the Halo 2 BR when was i was around rank 93 to 95, then it wasn’t until rank 112 (the one i’m right now) that i got another Permanent Req i was grinding for, the Tactical Magnum

Also getting more aggressive about cleaning out my collection, selling craptons of single use cards I was never gonna use.

I tried playing around in a few WZ games with the H5BR variant using Classic scope and Laser Target (for the extra aim assist and magnetism) - you’d think it should be very similar on paper, but still just doesn’t feel right.

For me, Sentinel is the way to go for H5 BR, just for the 2 stage scope. This is what I use for req 3&4.

I got my H2BR at SR 115 or so. It’s worth the it though.

My friends at 142, its his last unlock. He’s getting pissed. :grinning:

I got mine somewhere between SR 105 to SR 115. When I unlocked the H2BR, the game crashed upon revealing it.

Also, when you unlock it, please tell us how many goats you have sacrificed to RNGesus in order to unlock the holy gospel of the Halo weapon sandbox.

I am pleased to report, my brethren, that last night, RNGesus finally answered my prayers. The holy rifle became mine at SR112.

I whooped like I’d just won the lottery. I’m probably too obsessed with that gun, LOL.

At this point, I don’t care if I unlock anything else, really. I’m happy with what I’ve got.

I didn’t get the H2BR until I was a Lvl 147

Like I said, if you actually unlock everything the correct way, you should have it all around 90-110.

I didn’t get my H2BR unlocked until SR141.
