So, I got the CEA for Christmas, it’s bringing back lots of memories to when I played Halo when I was 7. Yes, I played Halo at 7. Anyways, I’m on 343 Guilty Spark, and when I walk to the door to watch the Cutscene of Keyes and his men finding the flood, my game freezes. I’ve tried waiting out the length of the cutscene, nothing. I’ve tried restarting the mission, nothing. I’ve tried it on another difficulty, nothing.
Any ideas on what I can do? I would really like to play some more, Halo has been my #1 FPS since it was released, and I would like to continue and see all the terminals, and get all the skulls.
Strange. I’ve played that mission several times already and have had no problems. Have you tried going to classic mode?
Yes, Classic Mode is bugged as well. It shows the game world like it’s still being developed and everything is grey. I just tried Installing the game to my harddrive to see if that will work.
If that doesn’t work, maybe it could be an issue with your xbox? I got a slim along with CEA for christmas, so I haven’t tried it on my older xbox.
Installing seemed to have fixed it. Weird. But oh well.
Interesting. I haven’t gotten to installing it yet, be playing the heck out of the game since I got it. Guess I should.
I encountered the same exact thing today. I tried everything. Installing, restarting, and clearing my cache, and nothing. I don’t know what else to do. I’m so frustrated because This is a brand new xbox that i bought a month ago. It still has the new console smell.
