343 GS and GS *SPOILERS*

Alright so for those who have finished reading Primordium, you all know that Guilty Spark is alive and we realize that “343 Guilty Spark, Monitor of installation 04” is just a fragment of Guilty Spark/Chakas.

Also note that the Ai on the unknown UNSC/ONI ship never really stated his own Ai name(remember he called himself Chakas at the beginning and even the Admiral of fleets later on), but was just identified to be the same Ai as 343 GS, thus him being interpreted as 343 GS. So for the sake of this thread lets just call him GS(Guilty Spark.)

So I believe we should start to differentiate Guilty Spark as two Ai`s.
Such as Guilty Spark(the great Ai that is tasked to “Protecting and maintaining” humanity) and 343 Guilty Spark, Monitor of installation 04.

Why?

Well mainly because 343 GS(as stated before), was just a fragment of the original.

He(343 GS) in a sense is/was dead. The original(GS) had no form of knowledge of the actions that his fragment(343 GS) had taken during the original trilogy, until he(GS) hacked into the unknown UNSC/ONI(my guess is ONI) ship and took control of it.

If I missed something please feel free the fill in the gaps, and does anyone else think that there are more fragments of Guilty Spark?

Wow i just got that booked today…I still need to finish the first book b4 i jump into that one…Sounds SUPER interesting though

By fragment he might just be implying that when he was turned into a machine he left his humanity behind hence…fragment of what he used to be.

I understand what you mean, and that is a pretty romantic thought. However in essence he is an Ai/machine, meaning he can most likely create partitions or fragments of himself willingly or thru the help of outside sources. For instance look at Cortana, during reach she split herself into 2. One stayed with Hasley while the other stayed with the Chief until the end of the REACH campaign, in which she fused and knew where to jump in slip space.
