If you are a Halo Player that played Halo 2 or any other Halo you probably know the map Sanctuary. Well ApK made a remake of it in Halo 4 and I think the map will work perfect in Halo 4 matchmaking. It works with sprint and it is a loved map in the Halo communty and that is why 343 needs to add this map in matchmaking.

Sanctuary is cool. But I would die for a Sandtrap remake.

Sanctuary was awesome. One of my favorite maps of all time. I’d love to see it in MM.

I really hope so. Arena styled maps are just what this game lacks.

Well, they have to please the traditional fans somehow. Why not start with a map from Halo 3?
Personally, I would prefer a Halo 2 Anniversary. But that means allocating resources towards a game made back in 2004.

They’ve already remade a Halo 3 map, which we don’t need

I was referring to the creation of the Pit when I asked that question. I am aware of the H3 remake.

The APK’s forged remake is indeed nice and I wish it was added to MM.
Speaking of forged maps though, where the hell are the Forge Island maps from the last community test playlist? I thought they were going to be added to general MM.

They were only a test, they weren’t guaranteed to make it into Matchmaking.

I’ve always loved Sanctuary. We need Classic remakes in a playlist of it’s own. I would definitely play it a lot.

Completely agree! I want to see some maps we want to be remade in next Halo’s
Sanctuary is a bit boring of a map, tbh. I’d rather more complex maps to be remade, or just make new classics.

That’s true I guess, but I thought at least one or two of them would make it in. Right now there are no Forge Island maps in MM outside of Flood.
Why would they remake a map that is simple to perfectly remake in Forge? I’d rather more complex maps be remade.

Why not the Zanzibar map from Halo 2 and Halo 3?
