Forgive me if I’ve left anything out…
[Bizarre Sticky Behavior]
> “Possessed Stickies:” Possessed stickies are stickies that have landed and then somehow disappear and reappear attached to the nearest enemy player within a range of multiple meters.
> “Homing Stickies:” Homing stickies are stickies that drastically change flightpath either while airborne or after bouncing off of a hard surface in such a way that they literally appear to be “seeking” a nearby player.
> “Dud Stickies:” Dud Stickies are stickies that for whatever reason stick their target but deal no damage to said target.
> “Phantom Stickies:” Phantom Stickies are stickies that pass through an object, vehicle, or other player.
> “Poof Stickies:” Poof Stickies are stickies thrown that ultimately disappear upon impact. This seems to be the rarest occurrence of sticky craziness.
[Bizarre Gun/Melee Behavior]
> Supercombines from the Needler do not always kill, or even inflict damage on occasion.
> DMR body shots count as headshots (and vice versa) at range.
> Boltshot and Scattershot are often inconsistent regardless of range.
> Most weapons seem to have instances where they’re able to bleed through various forms of cover, particularly close to object edge boundaries.
> Splaser and Railgun do not always kill in one direct shot.
> Simultaneous melee often results in the death of only one player, even where both are without shields.
[Bizarre Vehicle Behavior]
> Vehicles can splatter without acceleration.
> Vehicles can splatter without making contact.
> Vehicles do not always receive damage (unsure whether this is a vehicle or driver issue).
[Bizarre Spawn Behavior]
> Players often spawn behind opposing players, sometimes in clusters. This is particularly prevalent in a couple of BTB maps.
> Sometimes insta-spawn button will not function.
> Sometimes spawning gives a player a loadout other than the one they’ve chosen.
> Sometimes players spawn without the ability to use sprint or their AA.
> When spawn-killed, a player has an oddly high chance of respawning at more or less the same place they were just killed, multiple times.
[Bizarre Player Behavior]
> Most games there is at least 1 or more players on the opposing team who either do not receive damage at all from melee or projectiles, or cease receiving damage after their shields bust.
[Bizarre Matchmaking Behavior]
> Matches are started too frequently when there is a disparity of players, increasing one team’s initial likeliness to win.
> Matches too often are set with a glaring disparity of team skill. One team will be overwhelmingly positive or experienced compared to another team.
> There is no option for – nor apparently adequate netcode for – matching folks of similar connection and/or location. Constantly being thrown into these “bad matches” increases the frequency with which a person will experience any number of other game-related issues mentioned in this post.
[Bizarre Connection Behavior]
> Map warping.
> Time warping (having just your movement reset a couple of seconds backwards in time).
> Repeated blackscreen deaths.
> Sometimes in the middle of a match the match will just stop, everyone is kicked, and are either fed into a new lobby or randomly into a JiP game without warning.
