I have few problems with Halo 4’s custom game settings.This thread isn’t to complain about lack of human air vehicles or weapon damage but to suggest fixes for custom game issues. I mean don’t get me wrong I love the game but I can see replay value go pretty quick unless these problems are addressed.
Can’t change human colors in infection. I know this is a small problem but it is just irritating. Many people don’t like the highlighter color and we should be able to at least change it in custom games.
Can’t toggle weapons starting on map in infection. Many infection maps in the other Halo games had weapons on the maps and I’m sure people intended to put weapons on their infection maps. However even if we place them in forge they don’t spawn.
Can’t edit flood classes. I must say this was one of my greatest disappointments. 343 gives us the ability to edit almost all traits about the flood. YET they don’t allow us to edit their classes. I don’t know about y’all but I don’t enjoy the thruster pack on the flood, and I wish to change that in my custom flood games. We also can’t give the flood other weapons which hurts other game modes people may want to make like fat kid or duck hunt style maps.
No proximity voice although there is an option for it. I know this is a small thing but it kind of hurts some things. I really wish 343 would fix this although I guess it isn’t the most pressing issue.
Can’t turn off instant respawn in slayer. This is a big problem for me because I want a respawn longer than. .00 seconds for some of my slayer maps and I’m sure I am not the only one. While instant respawn is great for some games, it isn’t great for some others.
I will post some other problems when I notice them. Feel free to post issues you encounter that inhibit your custom game creation.
