I have owned Halo 5 since the day of release, and out of all the halo games by far i have played it the least. not because i have only owned it coming up to a year but because it is, compared to the other games, broken by design. yes you put out free update packs but so far it has been things that should have been in the game in the first place. you took away the armor customization we loved completely in the master chief collection and then halo 5 you put in a req system for everything, the armor we used to wear would not only show our rank but could be unique but now you have only given us colors and helmets to change. bring back the halo reach armor system. higher your rank the more armor you can buy with credit earnt in game NOT BOUGHT. let us choose our classes rather than starting with the same assault rifle magnum combo like you let us in halo 4.
yes you improved game play and gave us the weapons we wanted, but at the cost of individuality and when we called out for reach armor you put it in, but only for a limited time, and those of us who moved on didnt hear about it until months after it had ended. the controls for forge are the wrong way round and when it crashes it corrupts the map file with no way to recover it. and yes you gave us alot of weapons to play with, but ALL REQ weapons should be in forge, i mean like the permanent weapons with dual abilities, have each weapon its on category if need be, as well as adding in the socom pistol from ODST and a suppressed magnum. even giving us snipers and saws with the special traits like suppressors would be a step in the right direction. even adding back in the building section to make things easier, as well as the hornets and falcons, maybe even larger vehicles from previews games, even if its just as props.
as for the returning armor types, reach armor was a good start, but we still want the rest of the reach armor as well as halo 3 armor and even the ODST armor. especially those who make videos with halo and serious clans. just dont make anything limited time only. when you do that, especially with armor, you piss of the fans who miss out because they dont turn the game on for a week or 2 because it got boring opening more and more req packs to find yet more useless weapons.
i mean seriously halo 5 is a good game, it just lacks what halo 3, 4 and reach perfected with the unlock system. you knew what you were getting and when you were going to get it as apposed to random drops when ever. we like working to wards a goal. it could too late now for halo 5, but if there is a halo 6, which there should be, then you can fix it.
