I don’t under stand why you would take one of the best games on the market and completely destroy it. HALO is not cod so stop trying to make it like cod make it like halo. Every weapon is over powered the lag is out of this world. I wish I never brought this game I hate it

I agree with Cane Skywalker. I’m tired of seeing threads about people complaining and some sound “elitist” like “I’m a Halo fan, you’re not a Halo fan, I played it since the first one blahblahblah”.
Ya know what, i just got the new COD 2 days ago, been playing it alot, and it plays NOTHING like halo…except that you shoot people in both games and you can sprint…thats it! …halo 4 is a great game, still FARRR better than COD…i think 343 have done a great job

its just a re imagining from an outside prospective, so give it a chance, and if you wanna play games they just stay the same with every new release then go play cod or madden lol

Never felt they ruined Halo with Reach. Felt they destroyed themselves with being incredibly arrogant though.
There is so many faults with this game at the moment that I really feel like we are playing the Halo 4 beta. Like as if when the game launches we’ll get a true skill system (in-game), removed or fixed kill cams and JiP, nerf the DMR, get the file share system working, fix map exploits, increase nade damage slightly, make the boltshot work like the mauler at least so its not a pocket shotgun, and add to the obviously lacking forge and custom game options.

Do you want to know why CoD completely blows Halo out of the water in terms of sales every single year? It’s because it stays the same. The online Halo population is around a third of what it used to be because of how much the series changed with Reach and 4. The fact that you can so easily switch over to the new style without any second thoughts only shows that you never really enjoyed the old games in the first place. As it stands right now Halo 4 is not Halo. Not even close. Literally the only similarities it has is that there’s shields and that weapons are confined to certain ranges or niches.
Map control? Gone.
Power weapon control? Gone.
Equal starts? Gone.
Maps that actually have a flow and don’t just smear the action across the entire play space? Gone.
Sprint? Can’t be disabled.
Instant respawn? Can’t be disabled for anything other than CTF
CTF? Can’t change anything that they added to it.
I could go on and on. This game doesn’t play even remotely similar to any of the other Halo games.
