I heard that they won’t have a file browser where you can download other content creator maps when forge is released and, if this is true there is no way in HELL I will buy another product made by 343.
First off all the lack of content on this game is RIDICULOUS! I have been playing the same 3 map rotation for every game type imaginable its a joke. Also why is there no VETO system, or map voting. Then to top it off they made a crappy lobby menu where its next to impossible to see the players your playing with, or match up with them… On top of that, no custom games at all, literally halo 3 a game made almost 8 years ago has more customization than this atrocious junk. The lack of forge from the beginning is a joke, and now this? Why do they have to be short on delivering game modes such as infection, they had enough time to develop the game.
Honestly the only thing 343 did right was the servers, and thats something you should freaking expect from a game, not be grateful they did it right.
In the grand scheme of things 343 can’t properly make a game, halo 4 had no community or custom games, halo master chief collection was… well… halo master chief collection the biggest failure on the xbox one in my opinion, and halo 5 is a half finished game.
Halo 3 is way more robust than this crap and was made 8 years ago.

bungie perfected it on halo reach, 5 years ago. So Im going to have to wait my -Yoink- off for forge, then wait again for a functional file browser? The whole reason of the file browser is to explore and share new maps, and the fact you can only do that if they’re on your roster is an extremely limiting factor.

My guess is they did not originally plan to even have a file browser at all, but saw how many people were pointing out the irrelevance of Forge without a File Browswer/Share system, and decided they better get one in there…and figured a way to get a limited version in at the same time as Forge. Really no other good explanation.

Thats horrible planning on their part, extremely dissapointed.
Another possibility is due to the different architecture with the Xbox One compared to the 360, they had to build a file browser from scratch and are giving us a basic file browser to give us a taste and hold us over while giving themselves the opportunity to hear our feedback and improve upon it.

You have 3 years to make one that works. How could you even defend this?
Busy working on other aspects of the game such as story, mp mechanics, etc. There’s priority to things I’m sure. Just like people complaining about Forge, yet it’s gonna be the biggest and best yet and that’s why it’s taken a little longer and wasn’t available at launch. It’s gonna be worth the wait.

Forge update includes a file share and a file browser. Lol.

Regardless they shouldn’t have removed features that Bungie did for Halo, these features are some of the things that bring people together, Why 343 would rather leave it out is beyond me but either way, I personally think they shouldn’t remove features that simply don’t need to be removed just to make it “their” game.
I actually haven’t been bothered about the lack of voting/veto. I manage to play every map but I do wish there was some more game modes. The only thing IMO that is stupid about the game is no splitscreen. That has to be one of the reasons that this game is the lowest selling Halo game.

Or busy creating skins for weapons, 9000 + Warthog and Mongoose variants that no one asked for (Same with other vehicles), more Armor as if we really needed that and such.
Oh right sorry that is REQ items which are their cash cow as they can keep getting money for those.
They should have cut dev time on REQ’s and actually work on the important aspects of the game.
