343 experiment all you want but please keep it a halo game. In a Halo game we should still have the core mechanics.
Players start out on equal footing.
Players fight for map control and weapon spawns
If you die you lose all your weapons and they go to the other team.
Everything added needs to have a purpose and improve gameplay.
Have classic game types to keep a competitive theme in multiplayer.
Don’t reward the noobs…
As long as you follow these rules (it might not be all of them but you should get the point) you can knock yourself out with creativity. Remember without innovation we wouldn’t have forge, theatre, firefight, spartan ops, and even vehicle boarding. If you do something new please DON’T RUSH IT AND DO A HALF@S$ JOB! Also please give us a beta…

There were a lot of problems with it, for starters it should have played like the campaign, checkpoints with no infinite lifes and enemies aren’t bullet sponges with fuel rods. Next the lack of theater, skulls, and a scoring system helped make it dull. Lastly the story sucked. The characters you played as are meaningless to the player, they never talk, they never show up in cutscenes, they mean nothing. Just another generic solider. The cutscene story wasn’t tied to the in-game story very well at all. Last the story has plot-holes you just cant fix. The netcode in this game being worse doesn’t help the MM for it either.
