It seems like 343 added Big Team Battle, because of community wanted. Did they tried to replace Big Team Battle to Warzone? There is no map, except for “Forge maps”. Most maps are not balanced and looking bad. 343 never mentioned about Big Team Battle maps. There are 3 updates left except for upcoming Ghost of Meridian. One of 3 updates is mainly about Warzone Firefight, so I guess it will not contain it. Hog Wild and Memories of Reach, will those two contain Big Team Battle maps? At least 343 could bring back some classic maps…
I wouldnt be surprised if 343 never even adds 1 map after initial release of BTB. These maps are top quality for forge but they are not made for h5 BTB they are made for h2-halo reach BTB

I think they don’t have plan for this. However, Hog Wild makes me think this. Maybe Hog Wild.
All I want is Ragornak. I miss that map!

With a Spartan Ability, Big Team Battle could be very fun, but maps are not that designed for it, so it’s no fun.
Warzone was supposed to replace BTB but they added it back because the community was losing their heads (in a good way). With the short amount of time, they had to use forge maps. I hope in the reach update we get some dev BTB maps but probably not. I think we’re done with BTB maps honestly.
I think BTB was added due to demand, not because they wanted too. In other words I don’t think any maps are actually coming.
I’d rather wish for them to work on Match making issues with BTB first anyway.
I hope for halo 6 343 is reminded that BTB is a halo staple and the go back to supporting it. I wasn’t that big of a halo 4 fan but the BTB was easily my favorite game mode in it and when just having fun with friends it’s always been my favorite mode.
Only through forge will any btb maps be added
I hope they add more btb maps. I would even take community made remakes at this point. After they added that craptastic map antifreeze or what ever the community remakes seem like a better option than what 343 can come up with.
They are testing community BTB maps to be put into the rotation, but they had tons of spawn issues etc. The community breakout maps were easy to introduce because of the lack of spawn points. They are supposedly in their final rounds of testing so i’d hope they are coming with the next update. (Info paraphrased from bravo on a reddit thread)
Like the guy above said ^ Big team battle will most likely be getting an update with added forge maps later this month or next month. Same thing for Grifball.

343 Desperately needs to make more BTB maps. All the current maps are god awful.

They obviously hoped anyone who liked the larger scale side of Halo would be happy with only Warzone, not coincidentally where they sell req packs. You can’t sell req packs for BTB. They’ve treated BTB with such disrespect that no one in Australia plays it so you can’t find a game.
Like everything else in Halo 5 they tried to cater to the mouth-breathing MLG wannabees. And BTB is not “competitive” enough for their taste. But guess what, not everyones a mouthbreather, so some of us WANT unbalanced uncompetitive BTB. And so we got the mess we have today.
