I normally don’t speak here much, I try to be optimistic about this game. Before I go on a tangent I’d like to say I still like this game. I like the gameplay and the artstyle… but things need to be addressed.
Where is the roadmap? Nothing about the roadmap aside from the statement of it being delayed.
Where is this “Mid February update” that you guys were talking about? Not only is it mid February, but we’ve seen NO updates or any news of this supposed update. No information.
WHERE IS THE CONTENT? It’s been 3 months. No new maps, very few game modes added, no progression, no “slayer variants” that were promised in December of last year, the only time you actually added a fun playlist you immediately removed it.
No news of season 2, nothing at all content wise coming February.
Communication. I’m sick of people saying “343 has been very transparent” they haven’t. There is complete radio silence on the most pressing issues of this game such as no content, no progression, and no new playlists, maps, or anything. Every single “weekly update” 343 has given has been something as trivial or small, aside from the few bug fixes which I don’t even think fixed anything. I wouldn’t know I haven’t played the game in over a week since there’s literally nothing to do.
343 you need to get it together. I don’t know what you’re doing because this is despicable. Beyond heinous. Do you really expect people to wait months on end for you to drip feed this game? It’s pathetic.
ADD CONTENT, ADD PROGRESSION. DO SOMETHING. Because this is getting exhausting.
How is it that you managed to completely nail gameplay and artstyle yet completely just drop the ball on EVERYTHING else? Please for the love of GOD add something to this game. I am sick of this drip feeding radio silence CRAP.

You want to know the truth, here it goes. In spite of what anyone says, 343 is literally pulling a page out of Bungie’s naughty book. 343 is literally conditioning players accept things how they are with no regard.
The excuses this company has used over the last 10 years, the lies, the misleading, the manipulation… It has actually worked on a few players that defend 343 and they have become enablers. One of the worst type of people in this entire world.
First up I agree that we should have some sort of road-map by now. It’s very frustrating that we don’t have a better indication of what is coming and what’s not. It doesn’t necessarily have to have specific dates - by season or by quarters would be fine.
As for the communication - the last couple of posts were encouraging. Hopefully we get more of that. A lot more.
But on a whole the community has to share some of the blame. It can get toxic enough on here - but the way reddit got out of control was scary. I can see why 343 took the attitude of shutting up shop for a while.
And anything they say is taken literally - like the “slayer variants”.
And when they say “mid-February” people go into a meltdown when nothing happened at mid-night on the 14th.
Last week was a good (re)start from 343. Hopefully we’ll get regular (weekly?) posts. I would love one addressing the ranks. The “mid” February update is due and I’m sure we’ll get more from them at this stage.
I’m sorry but their “mid February update” had no content. The list was abysmally small with no roadmap either. I try to stay optimistic but I’m absolutely tired of the utter incompetence.
The update isnt out yet… They just put out a brief about it so that rabid forum posters don’t losing it over it being super late in the month. I’m annoyed at how the substance LOOKS paltry, but the jury is still out on whether or not this update is bad
I was definitely hoping for some more details about the ranking - specifically how they are going to stop everyone from just drifting to the right again.
Hopefully there will be more next Tuesday.
As for rest of the blog post. Details were scant - but there was plenty in there. They are definitely working on the issues (cheaters, desync, lag, campaign, etc).
But yes. A more formal road map would have been nice.
