You call out people on having no experience with network programming. Well, do you? If so, do you think it’s comparable to the experience of the 343 networking team? I highly doubt it.

No, 343i is just avoiding the potential connection and bandwidth issues spectator mode could bring.

And we already have substitutes for it. Theater, look at your gameplay.
Forge, explore the map.

The only thing spectator mode would bring is a way for people to avoid combat. Which won’t help.
