343 dropped the ball with Crimson (Spoilers)

I feel like 343 missed a golden opportunity to make Spartan Ops relevant in the current game by making the protagonists for H5 Fireteam Crimson. Same characters as now, giving the dudes in Crimson a face and also adding much more meaning to the first level in the game and their involvement with the fall of Jul’s Covenant.

Anyone else feel like Crimson and Osiris should have been the same team? Would have even made 'Mdama’s death a bit less random.

Personally, I’m glad they didn’t. Eliminating the ‘self insert’ part of a self insert character just leaves those who got emotionally attached to their personal versions of the characters feeling cheated. 343i should either do one or the other, not switch halfway. I’m very fond of my headcanon Fireteam Crimson, and would prefer that they aren’t made irrelevant.

I’m gonna be honest, I doubt Crimson will ever be seen again. + My point is that it’d add to the emotional investment in Osiris.

Crimson are our multiplayer Spartans

I like Osiris and I’m glad they’re not Crimson. I am sad that we don’t get a new Spartan Ops however. Unless they can release one as DLC.

There should’ve been a third spartan team.
It seems like 343 forgot that they told 117 that there was a team being prepare to deal with her.

This game could’ve been a real big saga with Blue, Os, and Crimson or Majestic all racing toward similar goals.

I have a feeling that Crimson will have their share of the spotlight within the books/comics just like Majestic is.
