1. Spartan Rank
Yes we have a Battle Pass we work towards but we want a individual Spartan Rank, a rank that we level up enjoy seeing our levels grow. Right now, as most of you can agree, we just have a Battle Pass we work towards but it doesn’t feel like we’re achieving anything. Once that battle pass is finished, we start all over again with the next one. We should have a separate Spartan Rank.

Solution :
Implement a Spartan Rank which we level up, so we can actually feel like we are progressing with something, not just completing challenges.

2. XP for Performance:
Every single game, all I see is people trying to get thier challenges completed. Especially in objective game types, people don’t care about the win, as long as their challenges are complete. The reason is because, what do we even get for winning or killing???..Nothing…Zero…Zilch…
We dont want a game that is all about completing challenges and grinding all day, stressing out to complete them…no…just no. The XP gained will go towards our Spartan Rank and Battlepass. Yes we have Daily and Weekly Challenges, but if you are someone like me who would/could finish their weeklies in 1 day, Am I going to play all week earning 50XP per game? That’s ridiculous!!

Also, everyone earning the same XP per game promotes AFK. No matter how many kills I get and all the effort I put in, ill still be getting the same XP as someone who camped in a corner AFK the whole game… :man_facepalming:t4: so what’s the point!! It’s absurd.

Solution :
Implement XP for performance. Each kill we get, each headshot, each ninja, each spree, each capture, just the way we gain player points in game, that should be XP we are getting. So when we get an assist and it says ‘Assist 25’, that should be the XP we’re getting. Every game we complete, we dont feel like we are being rewarded for it.

Guys remember, this is not just their Halo, it’s ours too so keep speaking up and keep being vocal until they listen to what we actually want.

3. Weapons: Assault Rifle Overpowering - Sidekick Pistol
The assault rifle is overpowered. It’s frustrating to see yourself get killed across the map by an assault rifle which as it stands has a longer range than the Sidekick Pistol. Comparing the Pistol to Halo 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…without a doubt, the Sidekick feels like you aren’t even hurting the enemy.

4. Service Record
The Service Record is completely missing. We want to see our overall KD, Deaths, Headshots etc. Why has this even been left out?
It’s been in all our Halo games. Its a addition we all want and need. Please give our FULL Service Record back.

5. Crossplay On & Off
We should be able to choose if we want to play with people playing on the PC. And vice versa, PC players should have a choice to play with console users or PC only. Regardless if anyone believes they do or don’t have an advantage. This should be our choice from the very start.

Unless we keep voicing our concerns, nothing will be done about this. If nothing is done, we will see this game lose alot of players over a short period of time.

This may be your game, but without US this game is nothing. Please 343 don’t make this game about money and spending. This was never the case with Bungie so please don’t. I don’t want to see this game fall apart, we all dont. So please listen to your customers. REMEMBER…THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT :grimacing:

Guys let’s keep this thread alive…we need them to see this. The more popular this thread is the more effect it will have!!! We can get the changes we want Spartans…Don’t let them ruin Halo for us!!!

I agree with the XP being tied to points thing but a direct conversion would be insane. You’re looking at getting generally around 2k xp each game, that would be way too much, cutting that down so that 100xp equals 10 and 25 equals 2.5 would be better and still reward players. You need a system which 343 could at least be willing to implement and there’s no way they’ll give you 2k a game hahaha.

You also probably shouldn’t bump your own threads if you want them to stick around dude! :joy:

I agree for all of you said but:

The sidekick is meant to be a sidearm, it shouldn’t be better than the AR, it is precise and very dangerous if you aim well, but it isn’t the Magnum and it shouldn’t have the range of it.

I would like to see the Magnum come back tho.

You should’ve titled this “343 Don’t Ruin This Game For Us Console Players!” because with you’re last bullet point you’re not including the entire community, only a select part of the community.

YES you are correct, but in no way did I say anything bad about PC players, I just believe people should have a choice. And when I say people I mean All Halo players, PC or Console.

I just read over the point and I can see how it seems one sided. My bad, I’ll update the post!!

if you finish all your weeklies in a day… you should take a break, with respect… The xp at 50 per game after completing weeklies is fine and you want xp of skill go to rank. You would get people doing more of just kills and not playing the objectives even more so because they just get xp. let alone the bots. assault rifle isn’t op and the sidekick is a great combo, get gud. Crossplay on and off is interesting but i think its not necessary Service Record sounds good , but I believe thats the website that has all the info

Service Record has always been available in game and on waypoint, so it should be out back into the game itself.

I should take a break from something I enjoy doing? Just because I’m good at a game and am able to complete the challenges in 1 day doesn’t mean I need to give it a break.

XP for performance is a must have. Iam sure I’m not the only one on Waypoint who thinks this. So 50xp per game is okay? So someone who afks gets the same xp as I do…ridiculous!!
