i’m talking about NO backing out because you don’t have host or don’t like the maps or don’t want to play the players in your lobby. keep the voting obviously but stop people from leaving. you have proven you have the option to add this so this only shows the community you approve of this “backing out” chaos. it would also be great if you added a penalty for quitting. H5 needs this absolutely 100%

I dont know why 343i is not getting it.
I have noticed an increase in games which suffer from lag due to poor host selection.
I hope 343i can find some sort of resolution as it may aid in stopping players from backing out of games which is frustrating if your sitting in the lobby for ages.
Removing backing out would be a good idea. A penalty won’t stop quitting. Remove the option to quit from the game. While it’s still possible to quit by turning off the console, unplugging the ethernet cable, dashboarding, or signing out I guarantee less people will quit when it’s not as easy of an option.
Remove back out and it won’t stop anyone from leaving if they see the vote going to a map or game type (or, I guess, an opponent) they don’t like.
I agree that quitting “in game” is frustrating and would like to see some kind of penalty with some consideration (maybe 3 time’s in a day) to player’s quitting due to severe lag or non player internet error .
I feel we need the option to back out in lobby because of the multiple game type’s in each play list.
If we had the population for only one game type in each list than it may be easier to support not allowing leaving the lobby, and I would guess there would also be less players backing out if it was just the map we were voting on.
