343 DO NOT NERF FIREFIGHT!!!!

Firefight is freakin’ PERFECT where it is, at least for me. Just the right difficulty, not too hard, not too soft. 343, you have truly impressed me, amazingly so, with this launch of Firefight. I thought the beta was… alright. But this final version on the mode I find to be near-perfection. Please, please to not cater to the noobs, my entire circle of friends also agree. WE LIKE A CHALLENGE! Good job, 343. You done good. Just don’t nerf this masterpiece!

Hear Hear. I agree with this man. Firefight is perfect as it is in difficulty. Nothing should be handed to you in a silver platter. If we go back to how it was in the Beta, I will be saddened by how unskilled the Halo community has become,

I agree I feel like in in the odst firefight days most of the guys saying make it easier it’s too hard proubly left mid game to make those posts in some objectives you can do really well or really bad. But it’s still fun and a good way to rack up RP so yeah 343i you took firefight of old and made it perfect

No. There is a very big difference between fun and reasonably challenging, and having soldiers that can snipe you across the map with automatic weapons. I have been playing all day, and have yet to clear round 4. And it’s not the people I’m playing with. It’s not that I’m not using REQs, it’s that hsving to fight more than three enemies at once is essentially unavoidable death.

Agreed and it should get harder 2 matches played 2 won already!

Warzone was getting so stale for me.

This breathed some life back into my Halo 5 experience.

It’s not overboard by any means. I can go in by myself and hold my own fine. I love it.

Cleared it 1st time go on my 1st run today. Had to call in 2 tanks, but we beat it with 20 seconds to spare. and that was killing 3 wardens. It’s the right level of challenge.

Going of Reddit and other Halo Based Forum sites. Only Halo Waypoint is alone in it’s opinion on it being nerf’d

Yup sure is fun to get to round 5 only to have 2 Mythic Wardens aka bullet sponges that barely got scratched by three upper level Scorpions on the field at once one of them being an Oni & we didn’t even take off 25% of one of thems health…

What about the number of posts in each of those threads? Cause what I see is a genuine majority of players responding in support of the Firefight challenge. Please link me to a thread an hour old or more where the number of players complaining outnumbers the number of players in support of embracing the challenge.

I agree they shouldn’t nerf the difficulty, however there are some other problems with the game type.

Spawning 2 Wardens round 2-3 is nearly always a loss for the game, almost everyone has only BR’s and SMG’s, maybe enough for a wraith, but its not enough for 8 people to do enough damage.

Show the next objective during intermission, I’ve lost 3 games today because we were where the last objective was, and the next objective was Defend the X and it was across the map. By the time we get there, the base is half gone, or the core is half destroyed, and we have to fight are way through 20+ Legendary enemies to get to where we need to be, almost always resulting in a loss.

Promethean Round 5 bosses are ridiculous when it comes to health, I have a video where there are 2 Banshees, Scorpion, and Wraith shooting a warden doing little to no damage. Covenant bosses don’t seem to have this problem, nor to flying bosses.

343i, by all means nerf the hell out of Firefight. Beta was too easy. Final release is too hard. There’s a middle ground between the two. Find it.

Firefight is too hard as it exists. It is very very hard to solo queue, and that’s a problem. If you don’t have the right REQs it seems like you are screwed. I understand that the beta was too easy. I agree that it was. But what they have given us is near impossible.

I’m sorry to say, but from the looks of it it’s hard, and I mean full on beating your head into a boulder kind of hard.

It needs a nerf, I’ve seen games were people got round 5 and couldn’t even take out one of the 3 wardens.

Also, what the h is up with the respawn delay thing? Who honestly thought that would suffice as a sufficient penalty for death?

All in all, if we leave it the way it is, it’s gonna go down hill.

I agree with the OP. People are only complaining because the stereotype for AI’s are that they are “easy” the AI’s are just as hard as normal Spartans. I doubt if I played a lot of WZFF then my win/loss would go down (not that it’s any good anyway :P)
