There will always be glitches and issues that sneak their way past game testing. Halo 3 and Halo Reach both had multiplayer betas, and the final products still features glitches and bugs that were never seen on the beta maps.
And for the record, COD has a very similar issue to this “rock glitch” in MW2. I cannot speak for later games as I no longer play COD, but I wouldn’t doubt that similar glitches have occured. Now that this glitch is known, it’s a matter of time before 343 fixes it.
I would also point out that you should look up “Halo 2 Bugs and Glitches” before accusing 343 of anything.

I’ve spent a good amount of time getting under maps in CoD not to mention all the random areas where you can get inside of a box or wall and get kills without being able to be killed.

> How is this possible lol? Bungie would never, ever ship a map in this state.

Most games have glitches in them, it takes time to discover them all & sometimes (as proven by that video) they don’t catch them all. Bungie had plenty of map glitches & problems. Being that the glitch is now known, it’ll get fixed. I think you are making it out to be larger than what it really is.

Assumed so, since both Halo 2 and 3’s map packs had glitches like this.
Bungie wasn’t invincible to them either. But like 343i, they fix them.

Its been 1 month. Yes, they should fix glitches but they aren’t going to be able to fix them right away. When I played Skyrim there was a Speech glitch that allowed people to max it to 100 & that glitch was there for at least 4 months because it was still present when I began my 2nd character.
