How is this possible lol? Bungie would never, ever ship a map in this state.

How can you miss something so obvious? Did you even walk around the map and test the barriers in each object?

I found the complex one to be funny, but this one isnt even funny, its just disgusting.

You never played Halo 2, did you?

Actually youre right. I started with Halo 3.

But not even COD has these kind of glitches. Not that I know at least.

Suuuuuure, 343 messes up and suddenly Bungie never made a mistake, all of their faults are forgotten. :\

I never experienced going inside a rock in the middle of the map on Halo 3.

There will always be glitches and issues that sneak their way past game testing. Halo 3 and Halo Reach both had multiplayer betas, and the final products still features glitches and bugs that were never seen on the beta maps.

And for the record, COD has a very similar issue to this “rock glitch” in MW2. I cannot speak for later games as I no longer play COD, but I wouldn’t doubt that similar glitches have occured. Now that this glitch is known, it’s a matter of time before 343 fixes it.

I would also point out that you should look up “Halo 2 Bugs and Glitches” before accusing 343 of anything.

I’ve spent a good amount of time getting under maps in CoD not to mention all the random areas where you can get inside of a box or wall and get kills without being able to be killed.

Most games have glitches in them, it takes time to discover them all & sometimes (as proven by that video) they don’t catch them all. Bungie had plenty of map glitches & problems. Being that the glitch is now known, it’ll get fixed. I think you are making it out to be larger than what it really is.

Revised the map in Forge and blocked that gap, fixed teleport rots, added tanks instead of mantis… added hogs and rocket hogs.

Assumed so, since both Halo 2 and 3’s map packs had glitches like this.

Bungie wasn’t invincible to them either. But like 343i, they fix them.

Its been 1 month. Yes, they should fix glitches but they aren’t going to be able to fix them right away. When I played Skyrim there was a Speech glitch that allowed people to max it to 100 & that glitch was there for at least 4 months because it was still present when I began my 2nd character.
