Surprised I haven’t seen this on the forum yet, maybe I just missed it. This was tweeted last night by 343 employee and Halo 4 developer Brad Welch.
For anyone who can’t see the tweet, it says “Since folks asked, we’re actively working on getting more smaller maps into #halo4 matchmaking. More details as the time gets closer.”

When the f#!K are the forge maps going to be available in mm?
And people say 343 doesn’t listen. Oh this is funny. I assume they will be Forge maps and that they will be coming the same time the Crimson Map pack comes out.

Probably, though I personally expect them to appear in the middle of December when they will be updating playlists with the Crimson Map pack.

You can assume these 4v4 maps will be Forged. 343 would be pulling a EA move if they promise you more maps and then they make you pay for the 2 alone. 343 actually cares for this community, despite what people think.
