Delay it so you guys can add the stuff you want to add post launch.
BTB
Forge
forge is something that is needed in halo.
its a way keep the population up and keep it from dying.
whats going to happen to octagon? CopsNRobbers? ?custom games?
why 343? Your announcements lately have been really disappointing.
im mad!
aw crap! I probably yoinked a lot of people off.
im going to be hated XD
EDIT: I said DELAY
not release forge at launch.
DELAY HALO 5.
and no, I don’t want a half baked game, a lot of you think I want that.
That is not what DELAY MEANS!i want a halo game with all of its features.
cant you guys get that?
BTB is pushed back so people give Warzone a fighting chance.
Forge is unfortunate but if forge needs more time, then time will be given. 2 months will flyby and out of anything, it’ll bring even more population then launch!
Won’t adding these features a little down the road pull players back in who may have gone astray with the other big releases this year? Those who set Halo 5 aside to play Fallout or Battlefront might pick it back up once they add Forge or BTB.
Not saying it’s the best thing to do, but it could end up being an advantageous move for them. Also, it’s less than two months, come on.

The thing is…
im worried about H5
the casuals or reviewers will dislike the game because it simply doesn’t have the things that made it last long.
now the Bungie fanboys now have something to argue about to use against 343.
;(
What sounds better to you, being able to play Halo 5 without Forge until 2 months after?
Or not being able to play Halo 5 at all until they implement Forge?

A complete game with all of its features, is better than a game without it.
rather wait.
The casuals and reviewers barely even acknowledge Forge exists. In fact, it would get more publicity when it is added, since it would probably be covered by game articles.

Several gaming oriented sites are already in love with the game. Casuals will always drop off after a month anyway. Chill.

That’s 50/50 people are just too impatient and there are other games than Halo them adding these features could get some people back it just depends on this games release and the rest of this competition.
So this guy would rather have a rushed forge with BTB rather than 343 learning from their mistakes and taking their time.
EDIT: this is directed towards OP
These features aren’t being delayed because the game is unfinished. Halo 5 will be finished when it launches.
They’re being delayed to not only give new additions and concepts in Halo 5 time to grow and be worked with in the community, but to ensure that all the bugs and glitches and issues are dealt with as early as possible, with as little issue as possible. It’s easier to fix things when there aren’t a ton of things to address at once.
If there is a server issue, they can just concentrate on Warzone and Arena, and then implement the fixes to modes and updates coming in the future, rather than try to fix everything at once. That’s what happened to the MCC, and why it took so long to stabilize.
By delaying things like Forge and giving the rest of the game time to stabilize and expand, the game will run soo much smoother.
Halo 5 isn’t unfinished. 343i is just being careful to ensure that everything works well in increments, and taking advantage of the data and feedback they get to make sure that all future content launches as smooth and functional as possible.
