Every single call of duty has the same game types sometimes they add more new ones on top of it. No complaints from call of duty players for lack of playlists. So get on it 343 add the playlists we have all been begging for let us play it everyday not just the weekends
As a whole product Black Ops 3 is far superior to Halo 5, it has:
Bigger Campaign
PVE Co op mode (and campaign)
More maps
More modes
Skill based arena rank system
Cosmetic customisation
I don’t personally enjoy COD gameplay, I can’t argue with the quality of the content delivered though.
LOL at skill based anything in COD; however, I will agree that the game modes released are enormous compared to what Halo 5 has, everything else is a matter of opinion.

Halo’s rank system is a better indication of skill than CODs
Halo 5 does take more skill to be good then Call of Duty. I can pick up Call of Duty at any point and go positive kd no matter what game type or which call of duty

The rank system is the same, it has divisions and placements etc
I’m not a fan of COD gameplay and I’m certainly not arguing that a loadout shooter is balanced however the rank system is a lot more thought out and established than 343s Arena ranks currently.

Maybe after a few more updates the game can reach that point. Hopefully at E3 they announce more free content updates for Halo 5.

You know the 343 Arena ranks and divisions? COD has had that in several games and it is actually a very good ELO system. I didn’t mean across the board, I’m well aware that most gametypes don’t have any criteria for matching beyond connection.
CoD does have:
Bigger Campaign
Separate Game modes that will keep players around for months simply for those unique game modes (zombies)
More Maps, none are low quality forge maps.
More gametypes/playlists in multiplayer
Even without buying DLC map packs for CoD it still beats Halo in variety. That is kinda sad.
Halo is better than CoD, thats why we are all here. I’m not sure i love this new tier ranking system for arena but its not so bad. they just need more playlists and a better variety of game types, both social and ranked.
Granted you have valid points where as content is concerned halo will and always will have superior skill match making, it’s a real shame about game types, 343 need to buck their ideas up.

No way was halo 4 better than waw or mw2. I haven’t played any call of duty in many years, it was around black ops 2 i finally stopped altogether, but call of duty’s online always has more stuff going than halo 4. And i have not, nor do i feel like playing black ops 3, but from what i hear it is working a lot better than halo 5 right now

I lost all 10 qualifying games on purpose, going horribly negative, and still got platinum, while my friend who did the same got silver. Try again?
I don’t think some people read the OP. He’s saying 343 should learn to add new playlists, while still retaining the old ones.
As far as variety and content, yes, absolutely COD has the juice. I will agree with this. Also, the ability to track your internet connection and you can see the online population is a huge pro. Well, for me anyways. And the user interface is far superior. The halo menu screens and the inability to decipher who is talking in game and in the pre and post-game lobbies is also very frustrating.
They should definitely take a page from COD’s play back in these regards. I feel it would greatly improve the morale of the community and it would prevent, from what I feel, the most balanced and skill based Halo game yet, from going stale far too soon. People have short attention spans and if 343 doesn’t at least acknowledge us and our requests soon, they will be letting a great game get buried and left behind.
