If cortana is ever connected with Chief can we have her face displayed during conversations like in Halo 4. Her displayed emotions in that game help build a connection with her characters fragile state.

Please use the model of Cortana from Halo 4. Halo 5 Cortana…just…well it was horrible. You swung and missed. Dont do it again please.

And possibly the most important. DO NOT JUST EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENES TO HER WITH CUT SENSE! Allow us to finish that story. We played all the games and deserve the chance to fulfill that Arch.

Cortana is in the game 100%, and yes please use an older style Cortana. Why give her clothes out of the blue? You’re trashing the design of a well loved character in a futile attempt to appease easily offended SJW types who will always complain no matter what you do.

Halo 5 is t rated and h1-h4 are m rated so…
Halo infinite is also t rated so I don’t expect Cortana to look ‘hot’ like she did in h4 and h2a

First of all, Infinite is not officially rated T, retailers are just using the rating of the last game.
Secondly the ESRB isn’t warning people about her on the box, so she isn’t influencing the rating. Her armored look also conveys her change in personality and role in h5. She’s galactic dictator, not a snark assistant. Changing up one’s appearance makes sense.
That said, Cortana needs to be put to rest, bringing her back to be goody goody having surpassed the only flaw an AI has would be extreme fanwank.
I think the Cortana “problem” needs to be resolved in Infinite. It’s too big of a plot thread to ignore even with the game deliberately being a spiritual reboot for the series.
I’ve always thought that the antagonist heel turn was an interesting concept (they goofed up the great send off she had in H4, but at least it was an interesting idea, albeit a poorly executed one in H5). I saw it culminating with a massive showdown between her and John in Halo 6- which seemed like the perfect way to reconcile OT Chief’s personality with Reclaimer Saga Chief’s personality; i.e., The dutiful soldier who will put his mission first above all else and the more vulnerable and “human” Chief willing to violate command directives on personal whims. Making H6 Chief vs Cortana would’ve forced one of those aspects to give way to the other (I think the most potent way would’ve been for John to have to destroy Cortana, despite his wishes, because she was beyond saving).
In any case, given the marketing we’ve seen for Infinite, I doubt the resolution will be anything as elaborate or plot involved as that. I’m guessing either resolve it quickly and “neatly” in the first act by restoring Cortana somehow and putting her back in Chief’s helmet, or she is replaced by another AI (Another Cortana model, if Halsey lets them, haha) while the real Cortana is off as a vague and continuous threat tangential to the scope of the launch campaign.

They dont seem to have put her back in chief’s helmet by the events of the demo at the very least, which is said to be mid-game. I’m pretty sure she would have chimed in during the dialogue with brohammer.
I would think she is due to this hidden within the original E3 trailer but prefer if they ditch the Halo 4/5 Cortana design and try to design something similar to classic Halo Cortana since can’t stand modern Cortana’s design.

That is a great observation. I did not take that into account.

Again, if her appearance would effect the game being rated M, it’d be on the ESRB ratings of the other halo games.

I don’t think she gave up that power. The Domain granted her a new power. Flaunting holo--Yoink!- can grant you the attention of a few people, but the ability to hack ALL wireless communication devices and relay your message to billions… That’s a theatric well above anything she had before.

Interesting take, I haven’t seen that yet. I still like her older design better maybe like H3 or H2A. Not sure what 343 was trying to do with the H5 Cortana but it was a no-go in my opinion.

Lol Cortana was not that bad in halo 5, it only looks bad when she cries but who doesn’t ?
The only good Cortana face was in Halo 2 anniversary cinematics but nothing more
I don’t think Cortana has to be full-on nude to be recognizable as the character we know and love. Just look at Halo 2: Anniversary Cortana from the cutscenes
