Am i the only one who felt like 343 was robbing its players? first off i don’t know for you guys but me i’m in trouble with the matchmaking and its not my connection’s fault i already checked that out see I live in Paris and mine is pretty dang good! however countless times even on daily bases the halo severs are giving up on me so much that i was forced to do the infamous and annoying as hell hard reset! to fix the retrieving data error and i kidding you not! 3 times already it did not work and i had to do factory resetting to get back on believe me that will ruin your day! i had to get that out of my chest cause i received no support at all from 343! Also i wanna point out the concept of req packs scam it is scandalous! Even know req points given after a win are to damn low as i said before the fact that there are peoples out there that actually paying real money for this non sens! is beyond me! worst I must add the emblem/visor/ and skin scam those cosmetics should’ve been given in common packs instead not only there are to much of them but also they are given in gold packs! it is a vicious marketing tactic the greediness of this company is leaving me speechless however I can tell you this already NO HALO 6 FOR ME if 343 is in charge who are designing these armors anyway? they look weird as hell! the direction artistic should’ve ashamed of it work

I actually think the way Reqs work is pretty perfect. Compared to things like Battlefield, where you can pay to unlock everything, REQ’s only update visual in arena and while gives extra drops in Warzone, that’s a social based playlist.

hold on! you can pay to have everything in halo too if you keep buying gold packs eventually you’ll get all legendary items much faster than a player like me who’s quite new in the game and who prefer to unlock those items for free but 343 have figured that out too! by burring you under piles and piles of stupid emblems visors skins…and the list goes on and on so you forced to wast your precious req points on cosmetics instead of warfare its -Yoink!- me off!!!
That’s a lot of complaints in one megaParagraph. I have to agree with the retrieving data nonsense. Quite frustrating.
I don’t see any problem with the packs though. They’re not pay-to-win or anything so if folks want to unlock cosmetics faster with real money and help fund the new maps and gametypes each month that everyone can enjoy…I’m all for it!
Reqs are a great way to maintain the free DLC coming out instead of having to pay for it. Let others such as myself buy Req bundles to ensure you don’t have pay cash to obtain DLC.
I’m just pissed off that I’m still seeing the “retrieving data” error for a week now.
And still no word from 343. Seriously, this error prevent me from doing customs, forge, theater, seeing stats, customizing, seeing customization in matches, using the req system, etc.
It’s like I’m playing half a game right now.
Are you kidding me are you aware that last November that game reached $400 million in sales what else do they need to fund new maps? the bottom line is that 343 is as greedy as microsoft then my issue with the cosmetic reqs hustle is that they won’t let you chose either if you want cosmetics or you don’t i wish they were sent independently from most needed warfare reqs instead it is forced on customers that my issue!!! how frustrating it is when you work your butt off to get a prophet of bane or nornfang certification and instead you end up with some whack ultra rare or legendary emblems or visors huh???

Anything money and cost related is almost always controled by MS. Just like EA with their games.

Just ignore the cosmetic reqs when getting them from in game points, the other stuff will come eventually. Although they do obviously make a lot of money they also act as a way to keep people coming back to complete collections.
Personally i dont care about reqs especially the cosmetic ones but a lot of people do so im sure many appreciate being able to get new armours/visors etc that come out every month. If they spend money to get them then fair enough, thats their money to do with as they will. Compared to other games H5 is pretty good, and to be honest i much prefer this system to the pay for DLC that divides the community.

i agree with you nothing new under the sun MS have been sticking it customers for years but 343 is no angel either in my opinion the req hustle is a grand theft it is design to force you to buy weapons that you could’ve earned for free cause these con artists had blend in enormous amount of cosmetics reqs withing the req pack lottery system instead of separate both cometic reqs and warfare reqs so you can’t decide either if you wanna look cute or if you wanna kick butts cause it’s gonna take forever to reach the ultra rare and legendary weapons that you really wanna spawn to in warzone
There are like 15 different versions of the BR for warzone. and you may only use two of them on different req levels. I have unlocked them all and feel the pain of scrolling through all the variants of the same weapon every time i hit req level 5. I got all the rare stuff and started to only use 10thousand req packs only for them to add more reqs at rare and below, a picture of the number 9 whoopie! so glad they added that you cant neglect number 9
The REQ system isn’t perfect, I definitely think 343 could greatly improve it, however I’m free to never spend a penny on it and face the grind, whereas people who want more stuff faster can spend money for it. They’re not stealing from us or any other over-exaggerated doomsaying people seem to pull out of their… yeah.
Now I do think we don’t need armor skins, and definitely not SIX variants for ANY armor (looking at you Athlon). We also never need variants added, it’s completely fine for them to just add new armor sets. Skins are just there to make the grind longer if you ask me.

Hold on you can’t ignore cosmetics cards there is no button to delete them right? how do you ignore them then? my point is i want more sniper rifles and less wack emblems or visors in my req packs

Bonnie Ross is the head of 343, she’s slso a VP or some executive in Microsoft as well. So 343 and Microsoft are the same, especially since Microsoft literally made 343, as in they didn’t simply pay some random dev team to make halo, they picked their own guys to make halo. So I could blame 343 and it’s still blaming Microsoft as well
