343 Cant fix a single -Yoinking!- bug

Because im sure everyone wants to join the gamemode literally all about REQs, and not be able to use them. 10/10

They don’t even acknowledge the bugs.

There is a bug that can give some ones kill to some one else. That seems like an issue in their competitive halo. Most wouldn’t notice it though but it’s very obvious if you get rewarded kills with weapons you didn’t use. It’s been there since release and I last saw it happen about a week ago.

Yeah that is irritating, at least you can call in starting weapons when that happens so you dont have to try and pistol out snipers and rocket runners haha

Stealing credit for someone else’s kill is easy, especially if they’re planting a grenade. Just start firing on the vehicle, preferably with an automatic weapon to increase the chance of a bullet striking at the correct moment, and if you hit it between when the grenade gets planted and when the vehicle explodes, there’s a good chance you’ll get credit for the kill. The game will even give you a grenade medal for it, from all the way across the map.

Happens to me quite often, and yet I still manage to somehow enjoy the match…

In fact, I actually find it a little more fun when it happens, because instead of wasting my own reqs, I can simply bayonet someone and take their reqs lol

Hell, I went a whole game where I had full access to all my reqs and didn’t call in a single one. Instead, I just grabbed my favorite loadouts, slapped on Upgraded Thrusters, and ended up with 37 kills, 3 scorpion kills, 1 Banshee kill, 1 wraith kill, 3 ghost kills, and at least 4 mongeese kills. I did manage to steal someone’s critically-damaged Corp Scorpion for about 3 minutes, and that helped me rack up some kills, but beyond that, pure loadout.

So, rather than complain about having no reqs when you JIP, maybe try getting creative and have fun with what you do have access to. shrug

Only played a couple games of Turbo but have read this complaint on here several times - seems pretty common.

They’ve acknowledged quite a bit actually. Remember the armour you glitches? They’ve even stripped some maps to try and improve the spawns. This bug isn’t game breaking and therefore shouldn’t be a huge priority. Sucks that you have to deal with it but is it “really” that big of a deal?

It’s annoying yes, but not that much of an issue, i joined a game, couldn’t use reqs, so used my battle rifle (with the blade and extra damage to vehicles), kinectic SMG and splinter nade power up, was actually quite fun to see how many reqs i could steal from others, we won the game and i ended with a decent KD

How is it not game breaking if people get kills that they didn’t earn in a mode that involves killing some one or some thing. The kills can also transfer to the opposite team. The most obvious case of this for me was an enemy splattered a team mate and I was rewarded the kill and I was on foot. I’ve had this glitch more times than I’ve had disconnects.

The spawns are just as bad as they were on day one. In the past month I’ve had snipers camping the spawn locations, spawned with the enemy at the start of the match with my back to them, spawned in on oncoming and currently exploding areas. Now when it’s been really bad I’ve checked to see if I could have spawned in a safer location that makes sense to spawn in and it was clear for spawning in the game didn’t have to drop me in no mans land. Even had some one spawn directly behind me even though my back was to a wall the game had to forcibly move me out of the way.

To to the spawning. In all honesty no halo game has a good spawning system. HCE you spawned on team mates while in a crossfire, h2 did the same but lessened the occurrences, h3 improved it drastically but those br starts could get you shot from the get go if a game depending on the map. H4 was same way but tended to have spawns behind objects. H5 is no different, especially in swat. Here’s the thing about snipers spawn killing tho, that’s part of the game, good teams learn where you spawn and predict when you spawn. Is it cheap? Up to you but it’s always been a part of the game.

This game has so many things in need of fixing… even by some miracle if they managed to completely fix this game, sadly I believe the damage has already been done. I would wager that many people have already dropped this game, with more to follow suit as -Yoink- continues to hit the fan.

Who said its in one playlist. It happens in every playlist (arena and warzone). Only in certain situtations does it even get noticed it’s perfectly plausible for it to happen under conditions that can’t be noticed for instance with weapons every one has. It can cause some one to get kicked from a game because more often than not it happens with multi one shot kills. I’m sure it happened once with a hog I was attacking with a sniper. It was a double kill but the enemy got the kill. If that had been a fully loaded hog that would of been an instant boot.

I had less issues with spawns in halo 4 and barely any in reach. The game should pick the most logical spawn location not the worst.

A simple fix is really, dont make us join in progress, because literally, every turbo game on balanced i join a game losing by 300-400 points with none or one base. It’s -Yoinking!- stupid. So i have no choice to play an expanded and be the laggiest -Yoink- ever, it’s completely stupid that 1 -Yoinking!- bug keeps happing to one playlist that they choose to ignore it.

They have fixed multiple bugs.
This particular one has never happened to me, so sorry.
Just tough it out with load out weapons for the time being.

It’s literally fight with no reqs and join a game losing by 300-400 points, or fight a 12 man fireteam…

How often can you reproduce the bug?

QA work is hugely based on how many times yoy can reproduce a certain bug. If you can reproduce it, write out the steps and try and flag a dev online, using Twitter or something.

Oh how History repeats itself (MCC). Let’s see if half of them are fixed by year 2 (yeah right). Maybe more green visors and weapon skins will fix it (yeah I know 2 different departments but still who ever thought of having slightly different coloured visors was a good idea is insane).

Hate to tell you but h5 is no where near mcc when it comes to bugs or glitches, no comparison at all. How many reviews do you see mentioning bugs? I’ve yet to see a single one, I’d expect to see the occasional feedback from a player tho as no game is perfect nor will it work perfect for everyone. H5s issue won’t be due to bugs but more to do with lack of playlists/gametypes and the awful campaign it launched with.

I suppose i was thinking of server issues more but what is they’re plan with these limited time playlists. They put team snipers on there for 3 days and then gone. Then we all have to wait for who knows how long till it even shows up again. I thought Halo was about epic game play not teasing. If this what halo 6 will be like I’ll wait till it costs $10 (which will be 3 months after launch like this one).
