its the extra ppl who replaces your original Spartans when they die in combat.
There’s supposed to be 12 people in a game, but the servers have never successfully matched 12 people and kept them stable.

Yep, same Warzone Assault preview in Urban, and the Pelicans on all other maps. Same spawns, Same map previews, just an entirely different gamemode.
Think of the 3rd as a decoy, so enemy AA fire has a 1/3 chance of NOT wiping out half of the insertion force

343 needs to come up with some new animations for warzone firefight and make some new maps just for warzone firefight.

Well, you actually can fit a maximum of 14 people in the Pelican used in post-Halo 3 media, so technically the entire Warzone team should be able to fit on one regardless.

Well your post asks why there are three pelicans when only two of them actually have Spartans on them, and we know it’s because they reused the Warzone animations. I responded by showing that we should only have one Pelican per team in any game of Warzone anyways.
