It’s been a few days since 343 removed the Prophet’s Bane from the req store, and they haven’t replaced it with a new mythic weapon, even though it’s been more than a week since the PB pack was released. Do you think they cancelled the month of mythic over concerns that it was approaching pay to win territory?
Wasn’t it a limited time only? Like about a week? It was because of PAX right?
I think there would have been an announcement if they had. It’s very unlike 343 to listen to complaints and act so quickly, and much more like them to just yank the pack without warning because they feel like it.

Id give it a few more days before we brake out the Champaign and party poppers. Its very unusual for Microsoft (id bet my house there the ones behind month of mythic) to back down from something, just look at Kinect.
Part of me is hoping that you tubers make videos with titles like “WE WON” or “WE BEAT BIG BUSSINES” only for a Norfang pack to pop up next day. Id laugh my -Yoink- off at that, before sobbing uncontrollably into a plush Spartan.
Hopefully They do cancel it, the Month Of Mythic Thread is being monitored by 343 anyways so they can see we want it gone.
I finally saved enough to get one & was disappointed to see it gone.
They probably played a few games of Warzone and rage-quited from all the wanna-be Prophet’s Bane assassins.
I’m pretty sure they didn’t… But if they did, due to the amount of people against it, I’d be uber impressed!

That doesn’t make any sense. Why call it Month of Mythic if you’re only going to have one mythic pack for a week? They originally described it as a new mythic pack each week for a month, not one pack for a week then nothing until the next month.
I doubt it’s cancelled. There were glitches with the PB pack that I hope are being addressed before the new pack comes out. Keep your eye on the req store for a new offering.
the ones like the arena pack aren’t there sometimes… it’s lag or something
If they did cancel that fiasco plan, I would actually be impressed.
It was defiantly cancelled other wise why remove the news page on the game about the month of mythic.
And I think it was meant to be up for a week. It was kind of emptied if not they would of given a dead line for it.
but isn’t it funny that there hasn’t been any game play of some of the stuff people have been saying even from youtubers who said to have witnessed 1st hand the damage done.
It’s still up on the Xbox store, so I wouldn’t get too excited.
Anyone else notice they moved two paid packs in front of the standard gold pack?
I had an attitude about that. Its minor but it really rubbed me the wrong way.
A new pack is more likely to drop tomorrow with the update or so I believe…
