can we please rank up offline in halo reach and halo 4 ? I dont have internet now and I want to still get more new armor and I want to also rank up in halo 4 offline in case

campaign/firefight/custom games. however i think custom games would make it too easy to boost, players would disconnect from internet, play a custom game with a guest on a map with one respawn point, set the spawn time to like 1 second, and then 10% damage resisitance with no shields, bottemless clip, 300% damage output, and just sit there and hold down the trigger with the AR for like 30 minutes. then theyd reconnect internet and be like 10 ranks higher
For customs all “options” aka unlocks are to be available offline, although you might not get a fancy rank, or at least not as fast as when you play online.
But you can still enjoy all unlocks, weapons and such in customs offline at least ^^

There will always be issues like this, but you need to consider that we live in an online world. Either you join up or you get left in the dust. It’s just the way the industry works.
I have made a poll for those who want to vote on what type of ranking system they prefer. I believe there is a way to add both ranking system into Halo 4 to please both lovers. Please read my post before voting in case I change your opinion. I know I am sorta spamming it but I would like to see more votes and it is my job to keep my topic alive.
As bad as this may sound.
They just wont risk helping people without internet due to a fear of people who do just spamming the hell out of it to get a flashy rank faster.
It would be a good idea to have an offline and an online rank.
But then you wouldn’t be able to show it off. Leaving it almost pointless.

Well with Reach it isn’t going to happen, simple is as simple as, they won’t overhaul the current system to satiate the few…
…But with Halo 4, I’m pretty damn sure they said that you can Rank up through Spartan Ops, may have been in the Sparkast, pretty sure it was…regardless of where in the blue hell I heard that, I’m damn certain it was stated, so you can rest easy on being able to acquire any and all Armour and Unlocks should you still be without Internet come November 6th…
