343 CAN make everyone happy. It's so easy...

For all these purists that just want old Halo 2 or Halo 3, give them a game type that removes sprint and armor abilities, give then a forge as good as Reach’s, and allow them to adjust weapon damage/range of each individual weapon. They can then make remakes of their favorite old maps or make new maps that flow well without sprint.

BOOM!

Problem solved. The people that like the new Halo 5 like me can play the new Halo and people that like old school can play old school.

No. That would not fix anything.

I am a “Purists” I think that they should make Halo 5 the way they want. I look forward to new experiences, besides for my “Purist” fix I have TMCC. I dont think that every new Halo must follow the same old formula, try something new, if it doesn’t work then learn from it and do it better the next time.

Thank you for being level-headed. I feel the same way. I like the old games, but it’s time to do something new. I had many fun years on Halo 2. I miss it, but even playing TMCC isn’t quite the same as it was long ago.

I like options. Nothing wrong with that. If we can play a more classic version I might actually have some friends to play Halo 5 with.

Keep the game the way it is. Just have a “hardcore” mode that doesn’t have sprint, clamber, etc. and it features team killing.

Sounds good to me. Halo4 lacked in custom game options. I’ll be holding off on Halo 5 till I hear it has changed.

The biggest downfall of Halo Reach/4 wasn’t the casual features, it was the lack of features that we expect from a Halo game.

Reach was missing a good bloom-less option. It was that close to being GREAT!

Exactly. The more options the better
