343 ruined halo & 343 halo better
And this isn’t to argue which is true and which isn’t. Because. It stupid. Halo had to evolve. Did 343 do it perfectly? No but. As a Destiny player also, I can also say. Bungie has evolved and changed.
So the point in this isn’t to debate that, as like I said, personally. You do you. You can have your own opinion, and people will have there’s.
But to talk about how imo. What 343 is doing is Great, blending classic halo into modern halo.
Which I believe infinite wil do greatly.
Anyone who’s played the tech review will probably tell you, it definitely feels like 343 halo’s especially 5 but also classic halo.
Which I find great, they are taking what worked with both era, and merged them

Ok on a serious note, yeah 343 has finally hit that sweet spot that’ll please newcomers and veterans very well with Infinite and I am so damn proud of them. I would hug every single person on the team if I could, they are going through their redemption arc and it’s going great.

But also yeah.
I feel like a big reason for 343 hate, is they took over halo in a rocky period of reach. Which was slightly controversial, and you know. People hate change.
Though I do appreciate the boldness they took with halo, and the honour they had on realising their mistake

No, 343 get a lot of hate for either telling the community half truths or blatently lying to the community
They get hate for takeing out descope and adding flinch and the putting descope back in
They get hate for removing the red x and thenputting it back in
They get hate because MCC launched in a broken unfinished half baked inexcusable unplayable mess…and then stayed that way for somehting like 2 years (maybe more)
They get hate for giving halo 5 a very very deceptice marketing campaign
They get hate because H5 was the worst, shortest campain of any halo ever
They get hate becuase H5 launched with next to zero content
They get hate becuase they gave us BtB as “free dlc”
…I can keep going if you’d like?

If 343 ruined halo, we wouldn’t be here right now. Despite how much people didn’t like the newer one’s, halo has always been popular. 343 took halo and added their own spin to it. And by what been released, bungie plan for halo wasn’t far off
And just one more thing “Us OG players” yeah no.
I to have been playing since CE. And despite not at first liking 4 or 5 I’ve never saw halo as ruined. It was different definitely but I’m not going to expect a different company, with different staff and different ideas to completely copy the last 4 halo games
I’ve learned a long time ago. Simply living with the mindset of “343 bad” isn’t going to do anything or change anything
343 has been since halo 5 going in a better direction however, with supporting mcc and developing infinite in a way to please both extreme. So that something we both agree on.

A lot would disagree with you there. From what I’ve heard and seen, people are enjoying the soundtrack, equipment, more classic looking weapon’s and better aim function.

People have completely missed the point of the post, with maybe one or two people actually talking about infinite. Congrats to those people.
In my personal opinion. If you hate 343 so much. And what they are doing with halo. . . Just stop playing.
And now I wait for more people to send me a list of what 343 did wrong and how bungie didn’t do anything wrong.

That doesn;t even factor into the hate, let alone be a “big reason”, it doesn’t even register in regards as to why
Its literally a non-factor considering most of the changes 343i made to reach were actually believe it or not well recieved
