Jalo storyline was cornered into a convoluted mess, and the only way to exit it is to start fresh, i am not asking for a reboot, i am asking for a spin off, where you can show how creative you can get, still on the halo universe but another story another person, a different companion ai, different encounters, different place, and most imporatnt of all SIMPLER STORY.
Example: isekai some spartan to a physics prison (a planet orbiting a blackhole) where only the exploration and activation of a partially built faulty halo could get him/her out, simple motivation: get back home.
Make the ai involuntarily sarcastic pure rampansy with sparks of heart within it.
Make the protag an underdog NO CUSTOM CHARACTER PL_EASE.
Bring classic weapons and classic dual wielding
Display lost human, covenant and other species tech from different eras stuck in the in the same place.
Bring Prometheans some friendly some not so much.
Bring back good old halo AI fighting each others but in a way that you can actually side with one of them.
Enable faction betrayal (for when its convenient or when conflict of interests)
ZERO cinematics all that matters happens during player in control.
Instead of dialogue wheels, make NPCs give quests with 2 or more solution options that could change what they think of you.
Take whatever enemy worked on halo infinite and halo 4 and 3, add flood, add something unique, however no humans besides you.
Give several enviromental hazards that are alien in nature but once understood can be weaponized (no explsive barrels please)
No pop culture references (halo references are allowed)
Make the gameplay a fusion between classic halo and metroid prime/subnautica (the exploration part)
Nake it very scary if possible.

The future is uncertain but theres no denying that only hard work built on a different take will get you the reconition you all deserve, i saw something good on every halo from you guys and i think you are more than capable, it is a RESIDENT EVIL 4 scenario where campcom had to do something different, thats what YOU gonna have to go through in order to break the shell that bungie put you in.
