I care about this franchise, too and have been in the same place of frustration you are currently.
An incident just similar to this happened to me back when I was playing The Division 2. Words were said, I got permabanned from the forums for “flaming.”
Don’t ended up getting banned for nothing. There are other ways to handle frustration than shouting at devs.
Dead Island for instance, extremely satisfying ragdoll physics. Guaranteed to take the stress off anyone having a hard time.
Speculating on how someone got banned based on the rules that got them banned isn’t throwing support behind the consequences or the rules that enabled them.
It’s just stating a fact. Whether you/them/I agree/disagree with the rules is irrelevant, the rules are objective.
Didnt you also try to play victim saying the other guy was being rude? Like, wow. Anyone who gets banned and genuinely feels like it wasnt justified would be pretty angry trying to get help and be met with keyboard warriors assuming they left matches and they deserve the ban.
It’s mostly showcasing how utterly bad designed the whole system is. First ban was completely out of the blue. Ive no idea why. Second, increasing from 12 minute to 60 came because I left a 1:4 slayer game.
Maybe 343 has a a system in place which punishes me for leaving about 10% of the game. Even though a rarely quit as first (if I have to guess 15-20 games)… fine. have this system.
But guess what: it would be REALLY nice to know stufflike this. ;D
4 hours playin… and whats the conclusion? I can’t play any seriously anymore because apparently 1 or 2 disconnects ( yeah this stuff happens…) are enough to suspend tge account.
A very clever system for a game which playerbase dies by the minute.
Its not the fact its a disagreement. Its the fact you support banning players for leaving matches. It doesnt matter if that player doesnt have much time left to play, it doesnt matter if that player does not like the mode, it doesnt matter if that player has real life things that need attention, just ban him for leaving a bunch of random players who wont even remember this particular moment in his time in infinite.
Id like to point out again a compromise that benefits everyone and everyone wins. Its one of the rare occasions where you can make everyone happy.
Let us choose what mode to play.
Its so simple. Games in closed beta test already have this feature. Why not push toward getting this added in halo?
But no. Players would rather fight and argue with people who get banned for wanting to play a match thats fun to them or necessary to their progression.
