There are a whole section on modding your GPD to get things like FOTUS, EXP, Specializations, SP Points over at seven sins forums.

It’s not like they can catch all of the modders lol. My boyfriend used to be a part of that website and had his own modding site back in Halo 2. Of course they only used it for custom games…not to cheat online or anything. According to him, back then you’d get banned pretty quickly if you went online with anything modded. Idk if that is how it is now.
It’s not impossible but I think it would be pretty obvious of someone had fotus and no the light rifle skin, don’t you think?
Many people on there only wants fotus but forgets about the light rifle skin.
I dont think 343 is worried about banning anyone right now even though it would be nice for the system to detect modding right away.
people with Flashed, JTag and RGH modded Xbox Consoles will get spotted as soon as their xbox has gone online and not on Halo 4. trust me i know quite a bit about the modding community but while i sit here and talk about mods I do not use them for illegal purposes. Modding is supposed to be fun. not to break the contract you signed between microsoft and yourself when you sign up for xbox live.

As for the suggestion about banning people who have Fotus but not the LR skin, what if they purchased Fotus online? Or maybe a friend gave it to them? What if they decided to not enter the LR skin? All of those people would be banned unjustly.

You can’t know that much about modding, otherwise you would know that you don’t need to do any of these mods to the console to unlock all the armours, skins, commendation etc in Halo 4.
It doesn’t bother me, as long as it doesn’t affect the online play, I’m ok with it.
