i like alot of players have tried to be positive about Halo. i play every chance i get and its one of the only games i play. i cant just grit my teeth and shake my head in silence very much longer. i remember in high school i couldnt wait for summer time just so i could couch potatoe Halo every day. Anyways back to the topic…Id really like to know what is going on with Halo.
PROBLEMS LISTED BELOW
Desync
Barely any maps (theres a video on the current maps that we have that shows where they even cut the maps size and took away ares of the maps that could have been playable, why?)
Quit with the shop already, delete the shop entirely if you have to. sell the individual armor pieces you wanted in the shop in the customization screen under each one of the individual tabs of armor pieces.
No Forge
No custom games or browser
Let us customize our own armor colors
Wheres our fancy watchdog armor coating?
Cross customization? No No No. just give us the 5 blank spartan canvases and let us use any of the armor in the game to customize them. then we can switch between our favorite armor sets on the fly.
THEATER? Id like to be a content creator but even this doesnt work right.
Champion Rank in Halo Infinite is missing
We need military ranks, Spartan rank numbers to 152, Halo 3 ranks, or Halo Reach’s rank so we can show off our skill and play time. Right now i dont know if im playing with recruits or veterans.
Social pre game lobbies. I used to be able to meet people and talk to them before a game or see what kind of ranks i was playing with, or know if i was up against a team. now i dont.
Map veto system. I guess this really doesnt matter considering we have very few maps to play on.
Service record needs to show more stats.
Real Social and Ranked playlists. Seriously start over and go back to the basics. We also need ranked FFA, and so many others along with changes. STALKER RIFLE SNIPERS? LOL
Bring back the entire Halo Sandbox, We need more fun than restrictions right now. EVERYTHING FEELS RESTRICTED. You cant even unlock a vehicle coating for everything, you have to unlock them one by one, its a waste of time and space, its lazy.
Can we have a different coating besides red, pale purple, and the ones we have now?
Seriously wheres the pretty watchdog armor coating?
We need more skill jumps more self expression and fun stuff on maps.
There needs to be more power weapons and power ups on maps, well some of them anyways.
push/toggle to talk binding on controller.
earnable credits through completing challenges.
new challenge system. maybe something like the commedations in Halo 5.
Sniper glare needs to go.
weekly rewards need to be something worth playing for.
Vehicle coatings, weapon coatings, armor coatings, shoulder pieces, knee pieces of armor. all of these shouldnt be split up and wasting space. if you unlock one knee pad obviously you should unlock both. if you unlock a vehicle coating it should unlock for every vehicle, same for weapon coatings, and armor coatings. who came up with this one? makes the battle pass and rewards look lazy on your end.
Halo infinite can be amazing. Listen to the fans…they are literally screaming at you to help you. Ill be adding more. currently at work.
Desync #1 problem. We can only hope that the recent telemetry that they put in / are collecting lets them address this.
Maps. Yes - need more. As for the ones we have - opening up closed off areas probably won’t help. They were closed off for a reason! And adding more power stuff to them isn’t going to help with balance.
Forge! Yes please. Yesterday. And we need the custom browser soon after.
Champion Rank was a waste of time. I’m all for some sort of Champion status, but basing it off the top ‘%’ of CSR is a) useless, and b) just going to promote even more toxic CSR grinding.
Yes to some sort of XP rank. I’m not personally fussed over military vs numbered ranks.
No to veto.
Yes to more stats. Or at least open up the API so we can all do our own.
if you look at Halo 3 even those little maps had more power options on them than infinite, look at “the pit” for example.
i personally grinded for champion so im iffy on this but enjoyed myself.
the youtube video i watched, that showed these areas i truly believe would add more close range encounters and be fun. to each their own though. i truly believe in self expression when it comes to moving around on maps and how you do it.
What did the Pit have? My memory is a bit faded here. Sword, Sniper, Rockets, and Camo. And a shotgun?
That was probably a bit insane.
We already have a toxic grind for CSR… so it’s only going to get worse.
The system just isn’t that accurate.
And Josh Menke used to be a bit dismissive of Champs in ranking threads. Along the lines of “it’s only early in the Season so Champ doesn’t mean anything”.
I imagine they were removed to balance the flow of the map.
Would be fun if we could open them up in Forge mode though. Just to see how they would have worked. And who knows, they may actually be useful in future game modes (eg. Infection).
i agree with all youve said. but yes it was insane in a great way though, and sadly that was only one of the maps. the rest followed in the same fashion. Halo 3 was FUN and competitive,
I’m just waiting to see when 343 will actually add content to the game so if feels like a game. Right now I have no interest in playing a barebone game that has no sense of direction let alone any kind of road map to at least get an idea on what to expect.
CUSTOM COLORS YES. we’ve been needing an option. They can keep selling textures patterns everything.

an open catalogue, the shop should just feature cheaper items.
But mostly if they keep this stupid shop in a better way to earn creds like through challenges. Keep the challenges simple and the creds lowish. Like 10 15, 25 and 50 separate cred challenges. There’s got to be a way to make this shop less predatory
im not trying to argue over chat or custom game names or map names right now, theres bigger and more important fish to fry on the current list above, not that i wouldnt prefer an “M” rating. and as always id like this to stay as positive as possible considering how toxic alot of these forum posts get. by the way you can already say almost anything in chat. while i agree, the game has already been rated, so im moving on.
