I was just thinking, that maybe 343i are releasing the info that people might be nervous about first, without that much details on them, let the community complain, so when we get the “good” info it would seem that much better. And when they release more info on the “nervous” information it wont seem so bad and increase everyones hypes for the game.
That makes sense from a marketing perspective.
But it’s still cruel. :’(
Controversial information first, then the sure-fire win information? Not that bad if an idea, but everything they’ve released and talked about so far seems amazing.
Seems very logical to me as well. Let’s hope some more in-depth info is released over the next couple of weeks.
only time will tell what 343 has done with HALO 4
Im just hopping
sooner > later
I don’t think so. What they are simply doing is attracting attention and when they have enough they will release tons of stuff at once. Its like shaking up a cola bottle and then taking the cap off.

I like your analogy here. It’s also like -Yoink-.
As far as I can tell, I just think that 343 just doesn’t see the point in telling us anything. They’re still building the game, right? What’s the point in telling us that X cool feature is going to be awesome when they find out they need to cut it three weeks later? Or maybe they’ll reveal Y map, only for them to make massive changes to it the next day so that we would barely recognize it anyway. Why expend energy trying to keep up with telling us what’s going on?
Granted, I would LOVE to know exactly how the game is being built and see the progression of everything in the game, but then I’d get in a huff about stuff they’re cutting or I’d be disappointed by what they’re changing. It’s better to keep us in the dark, really. It lets the team focus on building the game as opposed to appeasing people fond of an unfinished feature.
They revealed the BR, no health/shields only, no bloom, and awesome armor. This is bad info, why?

Dude, the game is several months away. I don’t think they are still “developing” it. Polishing, debugging, maybe some minor and major tweaks here and there, but certainly still not programming and writing codes and such.
If I were looking at this from a film perspective, I would say they are midway through “editing” it.

When?
doubt it

Well the Bulletin has been delayed till thursday for some reason and said something about “Warning: small news is late”
Not sure what this means.
> They revealed the BR, no health/shields only, no bloom, and awesome armor. This is bad info, why?
Did I say it was “Bad” info? I said that some people are anxious about it and i’m referring to the info like armour abilities which some people aren’t to fond of.
It makes sense in a way. Let the players think the worst, so it can only get better. I will be hyped up either way.
Can’t stop people from complaining about every little thing.

Nothing will stop me from buying the game, so all that matters to me is what experience I get personally on the multiplayer and campaign. I doubt that it will be worse than reach and I never sold that. So I think that it should be alot better than most people think it will be at the moment.
> Can’t stop people from complaining about every little thing.
I’m not trying too. This thread is to make people realise it might not be all that bad.
Interesting theory.
Although even if they did do this, there would still be members of the community who would find the smallest things to complain about.
This strategy might help, but maybe not enough to stop the more “negative” members online.

In the first look trailer, you saw no bloom on the BR.
