343 are doing their best

It really bugs me that a lot of people on the forums are constantly putting down 343, yes they failed with Halo 4 but they’re doing their best to make Halo 5 exactly what people want. Give them a break.
Anyone else sick of it?

Trying to make it exactly what people want.

But they ignore the community and add things no one ever wanted except maybe the minority. The game just isn’t fun and doesn’t feel like halo period

Agreed. In trying to cater to many they aren’t really satisfying a lot of people.

You need to remember that some of the community does moan about everything about Halo 5 and if they are not moaning about the whole game then they are moaning about a part of the game with no feedback other than " I don’t like this get rid of it " they never say what’s wong with it or how it can be improved so if 343 do change something and get it wrong how could you have a go at them. They have added what the community wants they are adding the arbiter back and from what I have heard that was the number one thing the community wanted and they have made fair starts in the beta because loadouts caused so much trouble in Halo 4.

Let me…well… you tell me that -Yoink- posts and more -Yoink- together will finally end up bringugn us a good game? In my opinion 343 shouldn’t listen at all.

What I’m saying is that we should be patient and try to give 343 some space instead of constantly saying they’re “killing halo”

This is really bad logic. I could make a game that sucks. I’m not a game developer, but it’s “my best”. That doesn’t make it worth $60. Slapping on the Halo logo on it certainly doesn’t make it worth $60. I pay for good games, not a company’s best effort at a good game. I don’t know about you but I live in a capitalist economy where good products sell and bad products deserve to fail. A company that is bad at what they do or has a bad business model does not deserve to thrive in this kind of economy.

That being said, I do like the Halo 5 gameplay, although I’m not very good at it compared to other Halo games.

Seriously I have no idea what So many people Are complaining about. Seriously They have pro players helping build the multiplayer. Even pros seem to be enjoying it so far. It the main consensus is that it still “feels like halo”. Seriously so far the multiplayer beta is great so far. I mean there are some small issue but thing that have plenty of time to be fixed.

I agree, I think it’s great. Some small things maybe need some tweaking but it’s 10 months away, I’m sure they’ll fix it by then.

while they are human beings, they also have a job to create a flagship AAA game, not an easy task, however if their performance is not up to scratch then they should not be working under the series when there is many hungry game designers out there who could replace them.

so far their track record is

  • releasing a dlc to reach that had issues with spawns and general geometry (CE anniversary)
  • creating an unpolished game (halo 4) that was co-developed with 2 other companies (certain affinity and sabre interactive)
  • creating an unfinished game (MCC) that was co-developed with 5 other companies (certain affinity, sabre interactive, blur studios, ruffian games, united front games)
  • and a beta

also the track record for certain affinity, the people who help design the multiplayer is also pretty poor.

i think 343 need to develop a fun halo game, while there are certain mechanics which stifle that, the issue is broader than that. it comes down to the general diversity and sandbox elements of the game, the ability to morph it into your experience that has been missing in everything they’ve developed.

Exactly lol. I seriously dont see any game breaking issues in halo 5. i personally love it so far i have been playing the crap out of it. the issues they do have can all be fixed by the time it finally comes out.

Yeah, the only “issues” are the features and hopefully people will adjust to them eventually.

Give it some time. It’s a different way of thinking. Took me some time to get my boots under me after bouncing between Halo 4 and Destiny so much beforehand but once it clicks… you get a rhythm going and it starts to make sense.

MCC launch was their best too?

I think 343 is doing a great job thy are learning from the issues with Halo 4( and no sprint is not the issue) they are calling in Pros to help build a Pro style Halo game. They are working hard to create something special for all fans and that’s pretty exciting

Yeah, some people forget that they are new developers, they are learning from Halo 4.

I think they’re doing alright if you ask me, only problem in the beta is the respawning. Takes to long, they’re doing good. They own the rights to halo, you never know how hard it would be to try and make everyone happy, cause not everyone’s going to be happy. I do hope that there is heaps In forge for halo 5 and i hope there are big maps in halo 5, not just small medium sized ones.

can’t wait for the full version …

I’m glad somebody said it. 343 needs a break from all the hate. I thought Halo 4’s campaign was epic and the Halo 5 multiplayer is incredibly fun to play, regardless of any similarities to CoD or differences from other Halo games.

Agreed, if we give them some space, I think Halo 5 will really go places.
