I appreciate this roadmap and I believe it’s long overdue from the studio. Accepting fault and blame is nice to hear, but it’s their game and their creation. Knowing about new maps coming in waves doesn’t excite me because why not release them together?
The Forge beta was nice to hear about and I look forward to continuing to see what community members make in that realm.

This was thread was started in 100% sarcasm-mode.
When a full studio is spending weeks on adjusting a (literal) slider for scope-glint, it gets kinda pathetic.
There has to be 0 work ethics at 343 industries.
What are you spending all those office hours on? Useless discussions about non-workrelated stuff? Drinking coffee?
In every other industry, people would get fired for sub-par performance.
All the delays, all the broken promises.
Is the Infinite-branch run by 3 people?

That’s fine and all until you announce even more mistakes in the same talk. 343 needs to be transparent with the fan base. There should be a weekly or monthly blog as there was with mcc for a while discussing what’s going on internally and taking feedback in on that weeks talk. Not this months of radio silence nonsense and then dropping more bad news than good. Sad state of affairs in the halo world right now.

In hind sight, the sarcasm is evident. I feel kind of stupid for thinking anything else. Oh well.
I’d appreciate if they’d step away from the franchise and let somebody else have a go

+1 all the things I personally have been hoping for are getting implemented. this is the most fun Halo gameplay style IMO.
I would be super discouraged if every day I came to work, I was only faced with “you suck” feedback. it would be very difficult to want to fix it, which they have been actively doing.
so I dunno, hopefully someone from 343 will see the lowly post buried in online hateville and know that the work is very much enjoyed and appreciated

i like whoever in 343 convinced them to give us multiple parts of our armor to customize instead of just the body or helmet like in Halo 5.
I appreciate the devs for working hard on whatever BS upper management has thrown at them, even if priorities are -Yoink!- backwards.
