Hey everyone, I’ll get straight to the point. I haven’t been able to play Halo 5 for about 3 weeks because of this strange error I keep getting after I press the start button on the main menu. The error states " Attention- error authorizing user with Halo 5 Guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes" Then it resets my rank to level 1, my emblem becomes Mjolnir with randomized colours every time I try to log in. When I go to the store it constantly says “retrieving data” and whenever I try to access anything that isn’t singleplayer, I get an error that says " Attention- Unable to connect to Halo 5: Guardians lobby services." In an attempt to fix the issue I have:
- Delete then re-download my profile
- Hard reset my Xbox one s
- Deleted local saved games
- Cleared cache
Nothing has worked thus far. I will attempt to sell my soul to Bill Gates if it gets desperate. I found some other people who have had the same problem, but they all use Sky Broadband, And apparently it’s a problem with them. I don’t use Sky Broadband to play Xbox one. I use my mobile data from my phone to play online, and it works just fine. For clarity, I’m with 3 Ireland on a pay as you go deal. Please, any help is good help! I need to get back into Halo!
Well it sounds like your Xbox live gold subscription has ended.

nope, I have gold subscription dude. I can play ever other game I have on my Xbox online. I’ve tried with other accounts but they don’t work either and they also have gold membership.

Whenever I have an issue with H5 a hard reset always fixed it. I see you did it but did you unplug the power cord from the back of the Xbox for a few seconds as well? May want to unplug and reset your modem as well. If that doesn’t work don’t know what else to say other than completely uninstall H5 and reinstall.
Try with another profile or sign out before you start the game… This seems to happen because there is a sync error, it has already happened to me…
Try resetting Alternate MAC Address in system network settings on your Xbox One.
I recommend trying to sign in on xbox.com, or through the xbox app. Then turn your xbox on and see if you can get in. When I have had this error, a reset worked for me.
