343 and halo 4's problem

Before you start to comment about how I am going bash 343 hear me out. I love Halo 4, at least most of it, keyword being most. There are things in this game that has the potential to be great the story is better than any other halo the graphics are amazing and for the most part, spartan ops and multiplayer is enjoyable, key word MOST PART I will now run down the complaints I have.

One Spartan ops while a good idea is executed poorly. It is fun until I realize that I am playing the same 5 maps over and over again. The only reason I play it is to get more on the story and the insane XP boost it gives you for completing it. Next custom games, oh dear god, what have they done to you? While there is a chance to make some creative maps it is a highly butchered version of halo reach and halo 3. The flood can’t hold any weapons or ride vehicles to my knowledge so games like sky castle, fat kid, Jail break, and many others have become obsolete. And I have lost all interest in doing any maps, I just download them. Forge is ok though.

Now Multiplayer. The place where the critical complaints come in for many people, many people but me. I actually like it very much and enjoy it. I guess is because I have played loadout shooters (Not CoD) so I was easily able to fit right in. BUT I do understand where the complaints come from. Classic playlists, make them with original settings of halo 3 the multi player will be perfect for me.

As much as I like the game 343 has raised a couple of eyebrows, especially with their panel at some random place I can’t remember. Where they basically said they are handicapping halo, No I am serious there is a forum post about this if someone was kind enough to provide the link plzkthx. THAT is some major bull. Don’t do this for the love of all that is good DO NOT DO THIS PLEASE. You are going to be the next resident evil 6 if you do this. But then again, can you really blame them?

I will openly admit If I was a game developer and I saw the cash cow that is CoD I would make the mistake of going to the same direction. 343, if you can read this, do not do this to halo, do not go to the mainstream route of copying the biggest failure of a shooter just because it makes a ton, if you do 343 and halo will collapse into dust and be erased from existence. Now if you will excuse me I will listen be listening to Daft Punk.

Too long didn’t read

Liked most of the game except custom and liked some bits of spartan ops
Panel was bull.

Paragraphs, please. It looks like you’ve got an interesting post but your ideas are flying out everywhere. Nobody is just going to read a giant wall of text.

lol I forgot, I was focusing more on getting my idea across than organizing it, hope I fixed it now.

Cool post! However, nearly all of your ideas and thoughts have been posted and shared in the countless threads in the Halo 4 section. Nothing new, sorry.

I agree with you, overall on everything. I still don’t like loadouts in Halo though. In games like CoD and Battlefield, loadouts can work because most of the weapons have similar kill-times. The games were designed with loadouts in mind.
Loadouts just don’t work with such a different game like Halo. Are there shields, vehicles, armor abilities, plasma grenades that stick onto you and plasma pistols in CoD? I don’t think so.

On one point, you are wrong. I remember Flood being able to drive Warthogs in customs, so they can use vehicles.

P.S.
I like Daft Punk too.

Loadouts were a good call. They were a natural evolution from the reach set up. This game actually works very well with loadouts aside from the obvious problems. It added weapon variety, while at the same time tryedto keep everyone on an even playing field. That’s we’re they still need to concentrate though.
