For those that do not know. Parisa was a childhood friend of john before he was enlisted into the spatan 2 program.
John saved her life when she ventured out into a lake to far. After he saved her he promised to marry her.
When john was flash cloned to make it seem like no one took him the flash cloned died about 2 months later leaving praisa shocked and sad.
Praisa joined the military and was in the battle of new mombasa. She was looking at a picture of John she always keeps around when John came up to her about to tell her no personal possions on the battlefield when he reconized the pictures as himself.
Sadly John did not reveal himself to her when he saw the picture and her.
This is where she can play a role in Halo 5.
It is not known if she is dead or not but in the event she isn’t.
Praisa would definitely follow chief anywhere in the event he went rouge she would go with him.
Since spartan 4’s are ODST’s and Marines it is possibly she joined to try to meet chief. Since master chief is famous and most marines know him she probably knows he’s alive.
I can see her playing a role in Halo 5 and has potential as a major character.
343i since you are following canon now you should definitely bring her in the story.

I’d definitely like to see her character elaborated on. It would seem really pointless and like a missed opportunity to ignore and forget about her character. Even though we don’t know much about her other than Chief promised to marry her as a child, that might be a good thing as it would give a rather open slate for her character.
I’d rather see John reconnect with Fred, Kelly, and Linda.

But, that’s a cool idea, OP. I don’t know if 343 would go and implement that though. There’s a lot already going on in the Halo Universe.
Perhaps she could join as a new member of blue team.
It does seem like wasted potential otherwise. That’s a pretty big deal, bringing an aspect of John’s life before he was a Spartan back into the picture. Too big of a deal imo to just bring up and then ignore. Perhaps in terms of filling voided roles Lasky could fill the role of “best bro” that Sergeant Johnson left open and Parissa could fill the role Cortana left open: an anchor for his humanity, except in this case it’d be far more potent an anchor considering who she is.
he promised to look after cortana but he could not fulfill that promise (that scene we all probably cried over at the end of the movie) and now she is gone he must not let another promise be broken quoting cortana "dont make a girl a promise you cant keep) i allways thought he must go looking for a new girl and find his true humanity me and my mate finished halo 4 at the exact same time and i said dude i think i know whats next he just said im crazzy and i was serious at first i thought a clone of cortana but then cortana was his mother being halsey basicly i thoguht he would find another girl but there she is right at the start of the whole damn series.

you are so close to the truth i hope they do have her in halo 5 it would be an utter waste and an amazing plot for people who have no idea who she is using flashbacks to an older halo making people play the whole series through and buy their books.
