I’m not talking about the update that you did to fix the game, which didn’t by the way. I’m talking about coming onto the forums every few hours and letting us, y’know, the faithful Halo fans, know what the heck you’ve been working on. It would go a long way toward keeping us calm and helping us see that you care about the community. Or is it that you have our $60 and really don’t?
Or you can continue to keep us in the dark with little or no REAL information, thus keeping the forums flooded (see what I did there?) with impatience and anger.
Telling us we’re looking at a fix of a few hours, a few days or even a week would be so much better than allowing us to continually jump into a playlist and not be able to join. I really believe, as do many of us on these forums, you’re causing irreparable harm to the player base. Long term, this is going to destroy the game and franchise we love.
It’s easy to become discouraged in a vacuum. I’ve been patient and in many cases supportive of your efforts, hoping that you’d deliver sooner rather than later. I’ve been playing the campaigns, finding skulls, terminals and hunting down other easter eggs. Nostalgic, fun times replaying these levels again. However, playing against AI gets a little tedious. The core of the Halo community, in addition to enjoying the campaign(s), wants to play against one another on the maps and in the playlists we fondly remember. Do us all, including yourselves, a big favor and give us information. A time frame…a REAL time frame on when we can expect to play.
