Does anyone remember when Bungie made people use their waypoint app and they allowed for custom challenges to be made that based off their difficulty would reward you with a major bonus of credits? I seriously SERIOUSLY wish that this was brought back. Its very hard to tamper or cheat since they are made out of preset challenges and ran through a server ( not clientside ) and they seriously rewarded you!
Lets not forget they also gave traffic for their website/app which is always a plus for developers.
PLEASE 343i do something similar to custom challenges that Bungie used too!
Max exp should probably be locked to a limit per custom game, the reason for this is because I suspect custom games would end up being used to exploit glitch’s to get to max rank quicker. But I’m not against having exp in custom games, campaign but they would need to limit it based on game-play time.
Also it probably should be less than matchmaking or players might avoid matchmaking if they can get the same exp.
that sounds good to me but I want more than just that. Daily challenges playing campaign, firefight, multiplayer, custom or social games should all be implemented to keep players engaged.
Custom game EXP caps should be pretty low, because EXP farming would far too easily exploitable otherwise. Boosting EXP/CR was always majorly exploited on Halo 3 and Halo Reach, it would have only been worse if custom games could be abused for this purpose as well.

This was abused easily. I remember a set up used when this was created that allowed hundres of thousands of credits to be unlocked. This is not a good idea
