343 acting on playlist demands?

Has anyone heard when 343 plans to implement any of the gametypes that everyone has been asking for? (Gritball, MLG, Multi-team, Doubles, Snipers)

Keep an eye on the weekly updates man.

The last update stated that they are planning the release of Double Team/Griffball early next year.

Griffball will probably come first since it’s only required map is already on disk.

My guess is that we’ll get Double Team in February alongside the release of the next map pack, which should include a couple smaller maps that could be used in the playlist.

MLG is still testing maps/gametypes. I have the current versions in my file share, and am working with the testing team. Things are looking good, but there are some issues that need to be ironed out.

Snipers was already rotated in. It didn’t get much attention.

I don’t believe anything has been said about Multi-team yet.

However, they said that these next couple weeks will be dedicated to that Infinity Challenge thing, so don’t expect any new playlists to be released soon.

343 severely screwed this game up. Do you honestly see anyway for them to implement a doubles playlist? BTB doubles anyone?

Doubles can work fine. I participated in the FLAG 2v2 tournament which only contained on-disk maps, and it was alright. Now that we have forge maps coming up, as well as the next map pack featuring smaller maps, the playlist will do fine.

Haven, Abandon, Relay, etc are all good maps for doubles.

the problem with doubles is that they have NO doubles maps haha.

MLG, Grifball and Doubles are all coming in January.

Are they really going to rotate the playlists such as snipers and doubles? Because that would be so so dumb.

Haven and cringe Abandon are like the only doubles maps.

Doubles will never happen. Not until someone uses the lolforge or they make small maps. Which in the near future, doesn’t look like it going to happen.
