Now, I’ll freely admit that I more skin your bulletins, but I get the gist of what you’re doing. You’re having contests for the community, which is good. You’ve introduced the Forge playlist, which does add some nice variety to the game. That CSR thing looks decent. It looks like you’re doing okay.
But there’s one core thing that you’re missing here. You made mention of a Title Update, which this game does need, and, if memory serves, you said it was coming either this month or the next. I can’t recall at all what’s in this update, however. Maybe its contents were mentioned somewhere I merely skimmed through, but I would very much like to know what, exactly, you’re making attempts to fix. Is the DMR being looked at? The Bolt Shot? The severely underpowered Scattershot? Game breaking glitches? Other glitches? As far as I know, all you’ve said is that you’re “listening to the community,” which doesn’t say much of anything at all.
Look, you don’t have to tell us specifically what you’re doing until much closer to the patch date. I just want to know what you’re expecting to fix or otherwise modify. Okay? Okay.

343i won’t release info about what will be patched before the TU. They will only mention what’s been patched after the TU has taken place.
I really hope they remove the boltshot as a spawn weapon. It would literally double the playability of Halo 4 instantly.
When they talked about the last title update, they said that it (the then current one) wasn’t going to be about sandbox or balance issues and that they were working on another TU for that stuff (that TU being the one coming next month)
They are testing customs stuff, and likely checking what they can do to balance things as people suggest. Hopefully they don’t go overboard because the game seriously isn’t as unbalanced as people say it is. There are some tweaks that could be made (ever so slight nerfing of the boltshot, minor buff to the carbine, camo glitch) but the only time I feel the game is “unfair” is when I am playing poorly.
I hardly ever use the DMR and I manage to go positive on a fairly regular basis. It’s all about using the guns in their intended range.
As far as the boltshot goes, I would be fine with just making it like the plasma pistol, but with a little health damage too. Not a 1HK, but not removing it completely. Of course, if you are rushing around corners without checking or listening for the charge, maybe you deserve to be killed in 1 hit.

I hope one of the things they’re tweaking with customs is giving the flood the ability to hold weapons. How can we play Speed if the flood can’t have gravity hammers?
