I recently played around with the hybrid BR. and I absolutely love it. I was wondering if it would be too much work to give it suppressor, dampener, bolts, etc. you know? (and for every other req weapon…)
Another thing. THE NEEDLE RIFLE FROM REACH!
Loved that thing.
It has bothered me on why the attachments aren’t compatible with the fancy optics. Then again, there is the problem of bloating up the REQ pool with lots of loadout items.
If we were to proceed as such, the user interface with the REQ station needs to be refined for faster selection. I’m a bit tired of scrolling all the way to the right trying to find a Bayonet, while an enemy is wreaking havoc around me.

The blood of suban is basically the needle rifle, just with the look of a carbine. I actually really like it.
Also, definitely make the attachments compatible with the hybrid and morph sights (hybrid sights are probably my favorite cqb sight because of the minimalist appearance of it.
Just came up with a solution, revamp the Loadout Req Cards, restart them for everyone, everyone starts with the basic weapon of each type, and you can unlock (buy with RP) the scopes and the attachments. The catch… You have to unlock each attachment for each weapon type (lets say, I’ll have to unlock the Dampener for the AR, BR, DMR and SMG, each, separately, and the Recon Scope like that too, without including the BR cause that is it’s default). The benefit… Less reqs in the system, but since you have to unlock the scope/attachment for each weapon, there will be a good amount of them. On the other hand, we will be able to pair each scope with the attachment we prefer, and instead of scrolling the cards, the menu just let’s you pick the weapon, then the scope, and then the attachment.
Energy Requirement: The weapon, at default, will keep it’s energy level requirement, the scopes and attachments will vary in terms of lvl requirement, analogous to the level requirement established already (Example: Default DMR will still be lvl 6, but to attach the bayonet you’ll need to wait to lvl 8)
My suggestion is to have the default carbine added to loadout options. BR / DMR can get stale.
Also, please, for the love of my family, wife, Halo, humanity, all fellow humans… Please, Please, Please make some sort of loadout defaults / favorites. I’ll give you a cookie. I promise. It’s actually a very, very basic fix that wont cost you money. Have a default load-in (post death) for each REQ level. Set in menus only before match.
- Default
- Pistol, Pistol (54 rounds)
- BR of choice, BR of choice
- Same with modded BR
- Same with modded BRs and armor MOD
Etc, etc.
Of course power weapons / vehicles will still require the hated REQ stations mid play.
Also, some ammo crates throughout the level (loadout weapons only) would be fantastic too, since the weapons don’t spawn full stocked (mind-boggling).
WZ FF is amazing, and has brought back the casuals of the world. But man, it’s choppy on functionality. Reminds me of, Destiny, with it’s choppy inventory.
