Last night I went 33-0 in a game of CTF. It never went to black screen so it didn’t reset my spree. Why did I only get untouchable (25 kills) and not invincible (30 kills)?

My guess is that you went 29 - 0 on the in-game scoreboard, then it adjusted itself to 33 - 0.
Sometimes you’ll get the medal, sometimes you won’t. It’s rather weird.
I suspect it has to do with the vehicle kills you got, actually.
Really? Killing someone in a vehicle would not count towards the spree? No way…
vehicle kills dont count towards a spree - you must have blew up more than 3 vehicles
Also - turrent kills (in dominion) dont count towards sprees…but its a good way to get a couple extra kills every game. They do count as a kill in your K/d
Why don’t vehicle kills count towards Sprees?
That would also mean that you can’t trigger a Killing Spree/whatever by destroying a vehicle, which I haven’t actually noticed.
Since they are separate and distinct from normal kills this should be seeing a patch eventually, I hope.

He has 4 medals for vehicle kills so that’d explain why he didn’t get the invincible…29+4=33.

As far as I have heard, this is how it was in Reach too, although I never noticed.
I think it’s dumb that you even get a kill for it, but I also don’t think that it should count for sprees since you didn’t actually kill someone.
The person in the vehicle counts as a kill. On the end game scoreboard it will add a kill for each vehicle destroyed. They don’t count towards the streak for the medal.
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I could maybe justify if I was in a vehicle but killing a vehicle that’s dumb.

Why didn’t I actually kill someone? It isn’t like a destroyed an empty vehicle. I got a triple kill on a warthog with the spartan laser. That’s three kills. Not one destroyed vehicle…

That would be true, except that the only credit you get towards a kill against a Hog being driven by a solo driver is “Vehicle Destroyed”, unless I’m mistaken… That’s why it should count as a kill: it doesn’t count as anything else. Some oversight there, I’d say.

Right, you got the credit for the triple kill but you also got a point for the hog for a total of 4 points, but only 3 kills. That fourth is what got you the vehicle destroyed medal and a point on your tally but it’s not the same as killing a person as well. You didn’t get an overkill.
I HATE black screens i should have gotten at least 2 perfection medals but no.
