I happens to me a lot lately:
I place a Power Extractor, sent my soldiers or Grunts to collect supplies scattered around the map, wait for the extractor to be finished and puff! Can’t upgrade the extrator because instead of getting 401 power-units it jumps down to 101 and I’m screwed!
Is this happening to others as well? If so does someone know where the issue lies or what causes this?
I play on PC by the way, I might as well mention this as well in case that’s a factor to this weirdness!^^’
Given that the extractor upgrade costs 300 power, and that’s what you lost, it sounds like you just upgraded the extractor. I have never heard of or seen this bug before, and that’s the most logical explanation.

Nope, I didn’t upgrade it. That’s the problem!
It literally drops 300 points the moment I get one additional point in two different situations:
- after completing the BASE extractor WITHOUT upgrading it
- by getting a power supply scattered around the map BEFORE completing the first extractor
Always from 400 to 101 instead of 401 without spending a dime.
Therefore the bug has nothing to do with the upgrade, I wish that was the case honestly!^^’
Yesterday it happened for at least the fifth time in the last month or so and I don’t know what causes it.

Can you go into a custom game and record a clip?

Do you know which game in your game history it happened in? You can check the graphs and build order to verify it happened, and submit that to the dev team.

Yeah, this is the first I’ve ever heard of this. Can you point us to the game you are talking about this happening in or record a clip of it?

Sorry, but where can I check the history? There is no such thing in-game, is it on my profile here on Waypoint?
Again, sorry for the ignorance, I’m quite new here on this board and this is the first time hearing about an awesome feature!
I kinda wished it would be there automatically during the after-match!^^’

If it happens again sure. At least with screenshots.
I don’t think my PC can handle both the game and stream-screencap sadly! XD

Hey,
So if you click on your profile, you can navigate to game history. In there, you can browse your Halo Wars 2 game history and find the last handful of games you have played. If you find the one specifically we can observe the exact build order and your power production to see about what time it happened. A video or reproducible steps is your best bet of getting it to be fixed.

First of all thank you! This is a really useful feature and I wished it would be included to the game itself frankly!
Secondly I found the game in question, I also was lucky because one more game and it would have been gone. HOWEVER there is no data after 25 seconds of gameplay (I know because based on the data I always finish my extractor at 26 secs funnily enough XD ). The page also claims, that the game was only 32 seconds long, while in reality we played for 16 minutes before losing to two Condors. I’m kinda weird out… the only thing I can do now is using the Xbox DVR app (hopefully it doesn’t destroy my rig!^^’ ) and taking screenshots in case it happens again.
In the mean time thank you a lot for the head’s up!
