played reach again for a match of infection and i can honestly say that i will choose 30FPS over 60FPS any day if having 60 means we dont have as many options as before and spartans have almost no armor on their chest halo 5 armor, look on the midsection no armor:am i the only one bothered by this i dont know if is because there would be more to render so they just took it out but if so why not just leave the undersuit black? and if anyone has Locke’s armor in multiplayer can you tell me if it look ugly like almost all the other armor sets do. hopefully it doesnt have that weird strip of color that you cant change

There are no wrong opinions, only stupid ones. But I kinda see where op is coming from.
I’d choose content over shiny polish any day, Halo 3 released in 2007 with double the content and even then it isn’t a bad looking game.
People go back and play the old games on 360 and think “Wow 60 fps is so much better than this”.
When in reality, it’s because the game is less than 720p AND it has frame drops under 30fps. THAT’S what makes it harder to play than these newer games.
If the game was locked at 1080p 30fps, the game would still play amazing.
I totally agree OP. Would we really notice a difference in a fully 30fps game if we aren’t making any comparisons or chopping and changing with other games at 60fps? I doubt it.
This game is so limited on choice and features that have been standard for quite a while in Halo games on older systems, if it meant a return to more diverse maps, game types, the ability to fully customise your Spartan (I too think the Spartans are very under armoured and the armour itself doesn’t look very metallic/sturdy), firefight and or Spartan ops (a vastly re-vamped one without HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED writing it), load outs in certain game types; and a campaign with an actual story then I would gladly have 30fps.
A polished turd is still a turd.
I would take the added features over 60 fps any day. Especially the split screen. VERY tired of having to switch off with my wife every night, when in the past we enjoyed the games at the same time.

I don;t think Halo 5 is a turd at all. It’s pretty damn fun and the gameplay is so damn smooth. We would absolutely notice a difference.
And I bet you’d be right out front smashing on 343 if this game didn’t run at 60fps on Xbox One. You people are so hypocritical.

But I’ve played Halo 3 in 1080p at 60fps and it still feels old and outdated? I mean back in the day it was awesome but today it does feel old and stale may not be your opinion but I think many people will agree with mine.

Perhaps for you. But, for people like me whose significant others play the game with us, it’s not the case. I don’t feel I should have to go and buy another Xbox, another tv and another copy of the game just to be able to play the game with my wife. I would gladly take a hit to frame rate to avoid spending that extra money.

I prefer 60 over 30 sense it makes the gameplay much smoother and enjoyable. I use to be those people who didn’t care much for fps but now I see the difference its like “welp I was wrong” ._.
60 vs 30 will always be battle between people. I would take 30 with more detailed graphics any day. But thats just me.

you might not feel that way, but that’s how it is. I own 2 boxes so my son and I can play. Split screen is whack, always has been, stop living in the past and being cheap. PS, you wouldn’t have to buy another copy of the game.
Not everyine has money for 2 boxes and 2 tvs. Stop being a jerk to people who demand a feature and stop defending 343i for removing it. If they really wanted to kewp it in they would’ve lowered the resolution and 30fps ONLY when you enable splitscreen
But they didn’t, splitscreen is just as big as before and even bigger nownthat the majority of the Halo community has kids already.
