I’ve tried to play super fiesta 3 times within 5 min and all of them were join in progress games, of which i quit out of all 3. I highly doubt people are on trying to play half games of anything but especially of games that arent very long to begin with, I know im not. 343, change super fiesta to 4v4 so there is less chance per game for people to quit out and others have to fill those spots because thats what it comes down to, i get dropped in mid game because someone else quit out, then when i quit out to find a new game i get the banhammer. It’s like that in warzone for me. more than half my games yesterday, & three IN A ROW, were all JIP, & losing.
Maybe you should play Ranked…
Are you complaining about JIP, and then creating more JIP by quitting? You do know that is how it works? JIP = Thank you quitters.
It probably kept putting you in the same game. I had that happen last night in BTB. I kept getting a JIP game against a full party, but I’d quit the build and then try again with no luck. I ended up just playing a different playlist.

Yes im complaining and yes i’m creating more JIP, i honestly don’t feel bad if i’m not the original quit to make it open. The point is why is JIP even an option past a certain point in the game, starting into losing games in social or warzone is just plain not fun. I know exactly how it works, and in games like social when your rank doesn’t get penalized for quitting people are more likely to do it and there in lies the problem.

You’re contradicting yourself by joining a social game then complaining about the fact that the team is loosing.
Social is about having fun playing the game. Not winning.
You want to play to win? Play Ranked.

Getting tossed into one-sided matches, especially consecutively is not fun and has little to do with winning/losing. The problem is that Warzone specifically can be a nightmare when you get thrown into a blowout and can barely fight back. Plus the no REQ energy bug is still pretty prevalent which just compounds the frustration.

Then say that instead of just “starting into losing games” There are all sorts of loosing game scenarios. You could have less bases than the enemy. You could be a certain number of points behind like a single boss kill from tying or taking the lead or something. The point is the difference between being broad and being specific can change people thinking you’re just a sweaty tryhard to a player who’s actually having trouble with JIP.
I find I JIP a lot less if I stay in the lobby after games. Yeah it’s faster to back out and restart the search but that seems to up the chances of JIP… Also players like yourself that quit out of matches are what causes JIP… Just sayin…

I’m not the OP
Ya JIP can be pretty terrible. I usually only play ranked an WZ. And quitting is not that common in ranked, and in WZ when someone quits it’s not even noted. But I don’t JIP often; I do remember one time when I JIPed into the loosing cutscene of a mythic WZFF game

No, no you are not. Clearly I need to pay attention more.
Point still stands though.

When I quit out of a JIP game within 5 seconds I have no effect on the game, it just goes back to missing a person, and the player who originally starting in and quit out is to blame. Thats how I see it.
And yes staying in lobby tends to help me as well.

Super Fiesta is random weapons for a reason…
Maybe if you don’t like Jip you shouldn’t quit. Too many people quitting and people will be jipped.

I love that about it, my point was with all those fun OP weapons 5 players per team on the same 4v4 slayer maps is too much.
You’re upset about people leaving during the game.
And then you join that game, and you leave it?
That sounds a bit hypocritical.
Changing it to 4v4 wouldn’t decrease the chances of that happening.
The issue seems to me is how players treat Fiesta like a competitive game type.
Fiesta is designed to be a chaotic fun mess, it’s that simple. If you’re getting upset about it, honestly I’d take a break from playing for a while. I don’t blame you for getting upset over joining a in game progress because it is irritating. But ultimately it comes down to you how you want to play the social game type.
Competitive, it’s a whole nother story. So is Warzone.
For everyone talking about just having fun because it’s social; first of all getting dropped into a land slide game is not fun, second we all know it’s not actually social so people caring to a degree makes sense (i dont personally care about KD but i do like playing full games), customs browser is the true social 343 has offered us in which it plays no part in getting RP or XP points, doesn’t play into KDA and you can not get banned for quitting even every game you join.
And for those saying im being hypocritical for quitting out of games I JIP, kind of yes, but quitting out in 5 sec has no effect to either team and leaves that slot open, thats on whoever originally was in and quit out, not me.

Funny thing is I have played a lot of social like skirmish and found it ultra competitive and boring with full fire teams of try hards taking a dump on lonewolves or casuals. I finally went into ranked and found it way more fun and relaxing as games were less lopsided and with less quitters. Contradictory but true in my experience
