3 New Support Upgrades spotted

I found this on NeoGAF.

In the video Bravo uploaded you can see him going through the support upgrades.

There are 3 new ones:

Dexterity: Faster reloads and weapon swaps
Explosives: Increases blast radius, decreases damage received
Ordnance Priority: More frequent ordnance drops

Thoughts?

Explosive damage increased, and EXPL damage taken decreased? Me likey.

They sound quite OP IMO

I dont think there should be any increase of damage, remove explosives or change it to something like less explosive damage

Indeed who needs a blast radius as big as a rocket launcher blast not me… And I hope this isnt the case.

I’m a bit worried about that support upgrade. I don’t like the thoughts of having to deal with grenades that are like the Reach grenades.

Explosives seems a little OP.

Is this going to far? I mean more explosive damage? Reloading faster? Etc?

It’s not like the good players don’t have a huge advantage already just by being good. If there isn’t a very good trueskill matchmaking system that pits only good players against each other in place, I can see alot of people giving Halo 4 the shaft and returning it or selling it.

Bad players are going to be getting dominated, I can’t wait :slight_smile:

Since when is increasing blast radius and decreasing damage to self = more damage?

I was hoping they wouldn’t take the upgrades that far. Giving the advantage for bigger explosives and quicker reloads. We’d be best without the two. In all honesty, it reminds me of Slight of hand and danger close from mw2. No bias here, but I really didn’t want to see those 2 in the first place.

Am I not getting something here? Why does everyone think that Increases blast radius, decreases damage received = more damage with Explosives?

Increase blast radius = instead of its radius being 3 meters it’s now 6 meters. It’s not making it stronger just have a bigger AOE(Area of Effect). Thus making it OP.

Sounds OP. I hope it`s not though.

Also, what’s the point of increasing radius, when you are going to decrease damage? Oh god, look at that splash damage on those rockets and tank.

What of Promethean grenade? Does it make its radius bigger, but drain less?
