3 Hour Ban? This is ridiculous!

Playing with my brother, I throw a splinter grenade at two enemies, get a double kill with it, then my brother stupidly walks through the fragments and dies. We laugh about, but the guy behind him figures my brother cleared the path and tries to go through as well, this is about a full 2 seconds after i threw it, kills himself. The rub? I get charged with 2 betrayals, and the P.O.S. that cleary killed himself elects to boot me from the game!

So I’m mad, he was the idiot, I’m clearly not intentionally targeting players and am 2nd in ranking at this point, but I laugh it off. Kids, right? BUT THEN, Turns out Halo deems me a malicious player on the word of this moron and bans me for 3 hours!! Worse, my brother checks him out and he has a terrible rep! I’ve quit one game in an emergency since I got the game, but I don’t get the benefit of the doubt over some a*hole and now my Sunday night of Halo is gone. Guess it’s time to buy Call of Duty, I’ve got 3 hours to kill, right? Nice work Halo

It happens; happened to me too, just get over it, nothing we can do.

This how Halo 5 muiltplayer die in few month because player like him will leave and move on to play other game that don’t do 3 hours quit ban.

If you’re telling the truth, that’s really really bad. Sorry that’s not right at all! 3 hours is extreme for something not really your fault.

I know that’s not the point of the post but…damn.

Let’s just hope that for every case like this, there are 3 -Yoinks!- who deserved the ban getting banned.

Believe it. The splinter grenade is “press RT to deny the area for 10 seconds”.

Negative rep the player who booted you.
Report the player to MS for cheating (which he did, by purposely walking into your grenade).
Block the player so you don’t get matched up again.
